My favorite track off of my 2021 album of the year. ERRA was #2, but only because it was the first ERRA album I enjoyed listening to. This track most perfectly encapsulates the best of the band Whitechapel is right now. Phil went hard when he had to. And he has the beauty and heartbreak and haunting effect that only comes from experiencing loss in a true and profound way.

No mixed feelings here. The last song you reacted to was Bloodsoaked Symphony I believe and that song is incredible. It instantly amps me up regardless of mood. That said, Kin is also a masterpiece of an album. It's easily my favorite album of the last 5 years and the growth of WhiteChapel is incredible. You're gonna have those closed minded people who feel like it's not heavy enough and to that I say, bullshit. It's an incredible record and they just keep getting better.
