So pretty much D and those versions of G repeating over and over. Song was way easier to learn than what I expected

The way Tyler plays it is much harder. Bottom e and high e are both tuned to d and there's a lot more hammer ones and slides than what's in this video. This is a campfire version of the song

Try playing it in open G. No need for capo and opens up the entire fretboard. Slightly different sound but very easy to throw down solos and find all the sweet notes. Makes for a great guitar duet or backup.

Very helpful! I played it from my ear on stage the first time with no guidance to get the right key. Basically key of G, but the capo 5 allows him to do those sick pull-offs between the 1st and 2nd. I was wondering how the progression allowed also the slide to the G position on the 3rd and although not depicted here, I can hear in my head how to play it. Now I can go back and cover it today with more confidence. THANK YOU!

If you have a lower voice, use the capo on the second fret, but DONT capo the low E string. The D chord will sound even better as you can play it on all 6 strings.

this is good, i have a question about the strumming pattern. when i first start out strumming my G B E strings sound super high pitched compared to the videos i see in lessons and it’ll start to sound like the song after a couple up and down strums but when i first start it’s super high pitched and i was wondering how to make it sound a little more in tune with the song
@LearnGuitarFavorites
4 жыл бұрын
I'm not too sure what you mean, but maybe you can only hit the bass note of those chords or just 2 strings and leave the higher ones out to make it less high pitched. Hope that helps!
