Wow! Props to you for doing some great old Whitesnake! This is what they sounded like for a loooong time before they hit it big in America and became "hairified" , for lack of a better term, by the 80s hair metal scene. Love it! By the way, this is a cover that was originally recorded by Bobby Blue Bland. They do an OUTSTANDING version of it, keeping it true to its blues roots.

L A I saw them twice. The '87 self title album tour and Slip of the Tongue. In the first, it was Tommy Aldridge's birthday and the whole stadium sang, Happy Birthday to him. It was EPIC!!

I honestly love both "versions" of Whitesnake. Even tho Coverdale himself has said that he regrets the late 80's image, I think he shouldn't. I'm glad we had both

This was before the hair cuts replaced the music, the were awesome for the first 3 albums ,then the likes of John Sykes turned into a grunge rock band, Marsden and Moody were the heart of the band.
