You can see it as heartbreaking if you want, I choose to see this as her being her passionate self and it's hilarious. She spoke bravely, defended herself, and actually made Dianne look like the fool with time and some basic drug education. Asking a famous person, especially a black singer, if they do crack is actually pretty damn offensive. Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon are why crack affected black Americans so badly. This isn't a conspiracy either, this is all proven stuff. "Drug dealers buy Jordans, crackheads buy crack , And a white man get paid off of all of that". Whitney Houston was an incredibly successful woman who probably did more with her life than most people can ever say. I think she lived it to the fullest. Sad she died so soon, but this video actually makes me happy. Reminds me of how sharp she used to be in interviews, she called Dianne out and made her look like the fool!

@@Andrea-wk9ws I dont know where youre living that crack is cheap! I got a considerable amount of money a few days ago and its pretty much all gone due to wasting on this crap, which i was determined to try since its pretty much the only drug i hadnt tried at this point. Thankfully I feel at this point I could take it or leave it and I dont plan on taking any more of it unless some other gullible sod is paying. Im in Scotland though and here we get like 2 pipes for 10 pounds, which isnt a lot imo. Especially since ive noticed that when you buy it, you have to square up whoevers there and damn near everyone around you wants a pipe too and i ended up with a bunch of people borrowing money from me for crack who now will no doubt never pay me back but at the time I was feeling rather cheery and generous. I dont think its a drug id have enjoyed much alone either and the circle of people i met while buying this shite all appear to be permanently poor or stealing to fund their habit on this. Too dangerous for me to fuck around with this much again, gotta watch out when you have an addictive personality. Honestly. Addicts are not bad people just for being addicts. Even if they're in denial about it. Dianne wasn't doing her any good by trying to get her to admit it, she obviously just wanted a good headline and some money. The same reason Whitney did this interview! She was a smart women and was playing by the games. All she had to do was sit on a chair and talk to some bitch, she didn't have to admit shit

That's right, it's not fair to judge Whitney or other addicts because of their addiction problems. Because addictions are off of serious issues and it's diseased and even genetic in some cases.

actually some drug addicts especially family are the fucking scum of the earth after all you do to help them they still go ahead and try to kill u or rob you so yeah they are not bad people they chose the drugs there is no such thing as genetic addict my father was an abusive alcoholic but it doesn't mean i am one i chose not to be like that bastard

@ Sheila Nistor yeah that is true. But jamie lee is right, addicts arent bad JUST for being addicts. But when they display behaviour like you described, yes they are being bad. When they lie and try to belittle other addicts (or people in general) with comments like "i make WAY to much money to do crack".. then yes, they are being bad fucking people

LoL these people talking about addicts aren't bad people. An "addict" doesn't only get high when they're without their children being present. Children pickup on it.

In some cases is passed on through parents, but most cases turn into addiction from losing control after starting. To start doing drugs is a decision, not a disease.

Luxe Honey the only one arguing is you. Thats what I said. To start is a choice, then it becomes the disease we know. So is kind of like if I would go and have unprotected sex and catch hiv. I have a disease, but it is in big part my responsibility. I think we should hold drugatics a bit more accountable than just feeling sorry for themselves cause its a disease. I mean, unless the person is a drug addict cause of tough luck in life.
@NDBit

Marcos Del Valle well, a lot of them are initiated as children but rich white people don't care about dehumanising anyone so long as they get theirs. Children don't make a choice to become addicts as adults. In foster care, on the streets... It's often how it starts. HIV can also be passed on genetically. And condoms aren't effective 100% of the time, so you can wear one and still get it

Whitney Houston Fan Việt Nam I’m not even sure that you understand what I was trying to say. I’m not discrediting all of the people that she helped and inspired, or how beautiful her voice was, or how incredible of a performer that she was. All that I am saying is that she is human just like everyone else, so not every single aspect of her life is something that we should look up to and admire. Watching someone deny their drug abuse problems isn’t “cool” or “classy” just because it’s someone that you admire or because the person has passed away. We shouldn’t be glamorizing issues that are so hurtful and damaging to people.

Whitney sounded fine if you seen her older videos of her when she was young she always spoke this way as in soft spoken and raspy at moments she don’t sound horrible at all but what do you expect from an artist who sings the way she did back then ? Even if drugs did have a part her singing was damaging her voice i sing and I can hit whistle register and when I hit notes a lot my voice acts the same way lol I’m not on drugs same thing when sza had to stop singing cause of her voice cracking

So telling the truth is rude? I don't wanna speak on this lady because she's deceased. God bless Ms. Houston. But she was very delusional and needed people around her to tell her the truth. Smoking marijuana laced with cocaine is the exact same thing as free basing (or smoking crack pipes). It's actually worse, because it slows the process of getting high and makes the addiction more heavy. Sooner or later, your body will crave stronger drugs. This interview hurts me so much because I know where Whitney comes from. She is the heart of Newark. And that city is horrible for crack and Meth heads. Being in Hollywood. She was destined to be a victim. So sad that people defended her addiction and made it easy for her to have the drugs
