Phenomenal idea! The way I interpret it, the MLIYL tour transformed I Will Always Love You from a traditional ballad to a more soulful R&B song-I can honestly say my favorite renditions of this song are from 1999-2000.

@@AmirLewis22 I’m not sure specifically but I know the musical arrangement for both sounds different, 1999 is also more sped up in tempo & 1993 tempo is same as studio version allowing her to hit the belted notes longer

@@lovewhitneyhouston221999 had no sax and it was mostly peeled back instruments and she went toward a keyboard, and other electronics most of her original band was pretty much already gone due to her behavior
