The Parsi community is an integral part of India and Mumbai. This video highlights who the Parsis are and what Parsi food or Parsi Cuisine entails. I've highlighted a little history where the Parsis came from, the kind of ingredients used in Parsi food and even touched a little on Irani cafes, a Parsi navjote and bhona nu patru. Hope you enjoy this video and please do leave me a comment if you have any more questions because this really is a brief introduction.
Some of the images used in this video are from this wonderful blogpost about a Parsi feast written by my favourite writers Jeroo and Gustasp Irani you can read the post here - gustaspandjeroo.wordpress.com...
The illustrated images are photographs taken from a wonderful book about Zoroastrianism called In Search Of My God there's also a free PDF version online.
