I know just a LITTLE bit for each one. I remember hearing something about IG-88 wanting to become the Death Star. Dream big. Wish upon a star. :) I'm glad you see 4-Lom and Zucckus as having been confused. I don't mean to be biased, but having been a Star Wars fan in the 90s makes it that much easier for me. I didn't have the background of the Kenner names of the 80s. I like the Boba Fett story from the book. Interesting take on making him a vigilante. I heard Dengar had retired, but as soon as he heard about the bounty on Han Solo, he came out of retirement. He couldn't pass that up. :) Thanks for the video

It's a great book! I highly recommend it to Star Wars fans and to fans of science fiction's subgenre space opera in general. When people wonder why I'm so disappointed in The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett, I point to this book. Its much better than the series we're getting on TV. As someone who was 8 when the toys came out, it's pronounced 4 EL OH EM, like C3PO. That's how the original commercial said the name. These were the prime ESB toys! Rebels were dressed almost universally in brown and white, Snowtroopers were mostly white, and most of us had characters like Vader and Chewbacca by that point. But the 4 original bounty hunters were interesting. They had cool outfits and were covered with interesting tools and gizmos, and they all had cool guns! Most of my ESB adventures involved one of the bounty hunters. Fun fact, as a kid at the time, most of us made the cantina characters we had bounty hunters too!

The book was great, and the Nintendo 64 launch game let you live it out. Always wished they made that book into a film. I remember all of these stories well, with the exception of the Boba Fett story, I remember him busting out of the sarlac but not much else. When Disney bought Star Wars and re-birthed Canon, this book instantly came to mind, a shame to be discarded from the Universe. The IG-88 story perhaps particularly given its relevancy to the Saga

The aspect of these characters that made them so likeable was the mystery behind them. That’s what makes them the perfect villains/anti heroes.
