I think, based on humans current understanding of the universe, there’s still a larger chance that a random storm could’ve started life as we know it than some mystical being willing it into existence. But we don’t know everything… maybe some mystical being willed a random storm to happen and for life to start that way. Lol
@DarkSideKyp
Жыл бұрын
@@byronn.585 That doesn’t make any sense… whether or not God exists doesn’t boil down to “chance” at all, it’s a binary: either God exists or He doesn’t, there’s no probability involved. But speaking of your version of world origin, yours is inconsistent with itself. According to the laws of physics that are firmly established, neither matter nor energy can not be created or destroyed, and every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Energy can only change forms, either from potential to kinetic or vice versa. According to the latest “scientific theories,” the universe will end in a “big freeze” scenario, where it expands to the point of being sparse enough where no matter will have any way to create heat by contact with other matter; all energy becomes potential with no kinetic left. Now tell me this: when did the universe begin? If the universe has always existed with the same amount of matter it has now, it doesn’t add up. If everything has *always* existed, the universe would already be at that frozen state. If time expands infinitely in both directions, and the universe didn’t have a “creation” and will not have an end, why has that not already happened? Why do things continue to move and happen if everything has *always* existed? Conversely, if there is a God, then creation makes sense. The universe would have a definite beginning point at creation, and despite what your views on the accuracy of biblical timing may be, it is a consistent view. If the universe suddenly “happened,” something had to cause it, or else you’ve just broken all of the most basic laws of physics at the same time. If an almighty, omnipotent God created it, the laws of physics don’t matter as much if He created said laws.

I like how this scene is shot from inside a window looking out, like we’re hiding and eavesdropping on their conversation

Believe it or not he is based off a real person who tried his best to get Jews into his factory so that they could survive there where many like him that were head of work camps like his and kept Jews and feed them well and treated them like normal humans

Absolute masterpiece of a film. It has the color and aesthetic of a 1940s film and it's so rich with detail and emotion.
