Remember this isn’t a competition or ranking. It’s just to feature some exceptional moments and appreciate the dance and members while also discussing strengths and weaknesses to help you better learn the dance or just enjoy the talent these girls have.
Even so, here is how much time I spent on each person but please remember that not all moves are equally as hard or long. Here, as you can see, everyone is quite equal except for Soojin who is notably spectacular at this dance imo but with (G)I-DLE it seems to vary a lot depending the dance style.
Soojin 70s (1 min 10 sec!!)
Minnie 32s
Yuqi 27s
Soyeon 25s
Miyeon 22s
Shuhua 14s
Soojin
Some of the best I’ve seen from her which is saying a lot. An amazing sense of timing and awareness of the placement of her body. Notably, her arms are straight and sharp throughout and she emphasizes with her head nicely. Sometimes she does miss details but overall she’s naturally great at doing everything and seems to effortlessly move from one perfect pose to another. Since she excels at the long chorus, she really dominated the focus time
Minnie
She is very graceful and aware of what to do to enhance the moves. Her time is so long because she is best at the slower movements which simply take longer lol. However, she is quite inaccurate in some moves. Mostly putting her arms/hands and the wrong level or place. However sometimes she’s the most accurate too so idk.
Yuqi
She could work on being cleaner with the details and working on her flow but her musicality is very apparent and she is often the most accurate when it comes to the faster moves. She is able to portray the robotic and sharp parts better than the more flowy parts.
Soyeon
Obviously a very strong dancer in the group but, since her lines occur during most of the stronger parts she’d usually excel at and she’s in the back for half the dance break, simply not much time ended up with her. Overall, she’s extremely clean throughout.
Miyeon
Extremely graceful. Although some faster moments trip her up and she loses her accuracy, she excels at the slow and graceful ones from head to toe. She is very aware of her posture and movement and has some of the best timing in the group this practice.
Shuhua
Although she is very fluid, particularly great at hip moves, Shuhua makes the most mistakes with timing (often doing the move very early) and details in the fast parts. It should be noted that her top is riding up the entire practice and she has to keep pulling it down which very likely took her out of the zone and/or interrupted the possibility of more smooth transitions.
