Is impossible to say who is Takeshi Kitano. For us, western people, he is the actor, the filmmaker, the comedian, the artist...but for japanese people he is something more, a symbol of joy and happiness. I saw and met him in Shinjuku in my second trip to Japan. It was an amazing moment🎉 and he is very kind with foreigners too, although he doesn't know a word of english

As someone who found Japanese comedy through Downtown / Gaki no tsukai, these type of videos showing other famous names in Japanese comedy that also appear or are mentioned in GNO are just gold.
