I started work as young as I legally could, became successful, but then obsolete when I was 31. I retrained, became succesful again, but obsolete by the age of 52. Now it's back to manual labour and a safe job. I've never seen AI carrying a bucket of shit yet.

I'm a therapist and I've listened to people think that Ai day be able to help them through their problems. Problem is that Ai doesn't have empathy, and more importantly, it's just parroting. I isn't actually smart, it's just fast, and only as good as the data fed into it.

at 3:43 the vehicle interior is so funny. to me, looking at that image, i'd say it's probably just a car. but AI amalgamated a chopper and minibus together, gave it the full fear and loathing in las vegas trim level and some awesome pink seat covers... or maybe malformed passengers? current AI does art like a toddler with an extremely disproportionate amount of reference materials. i love it to bits.

It's fair dinkum scary. Makes me glad I'm well past teenage years and that the rest of my years will be in tech. Music and visual arts will suffer -first- most, I think, but then office workers. Creative industry has been struggling since the internet was released, specially music. It became free. The corporates wanted to save their extra margin profits so they took more from the artists. And these are the artists that got signed, the rest went more down the drain. @13:30 and cause people like her., we are getting tons of models, with NO censorship, NO filters, no avoiding "likeness", these models will NEVER be removed from the internet, so even if such laws were to be passed, tens of millions of people have these files already.

So get this.... 1st came the photographers. Then came the robotic chemical photobooths who replaced live photographers. Then came my photobooth. As a photobooth owner, it was important for me to find a way to keep the live photographer while still having branded instant printing. Aka: Photostrips with the clients name on them in under 1 minute) this means my paparazzi style photobooth replaced a robot who replaced a live photographer, thus I'm living proof that getting our jobs back from our technological overloards is possible!
