Barry Sanders is indisputably the greatest pure running back to every play the game. Of all time. He was like watching poetry in motion. Very few players really are so electrifying because they could score anytime the ball was in their hands. Barry was cream of the crop. The only player I’ve ever seen as captivating as him was Michael Vick. Deion was good too, but as DB.. meh, you don’t care what they’re doing unless the balls there.

No way. Deion was far better football player than bo and a far better baseball player than bo . I watched them both and the numbers don't lie either . In the nfl , deion played the entire game , offense, defense, and special teams . Deion is the best cornerback who's ever played he literally shutdown his side of the field against the best hof receivers to ever play , he changed the game . Jerry Rice, the Goat says himself he'd lose sleep trying to figure out how to succeed when he had to play against deion , hof in their primes Rice , Irvin,Tim brown,Chris Carter all said deion had a better chance at catching the ball then they did . You can make a case for who's the best receivers, best running back, best quarterback beat linebacker etc etc . There is only one concensus in the entire nfl game on who's the greatest corner of all time . Deion Sanders . The 49ers paid deion to shut down receivers to win the superbowl , two years later , Dallas paid deion to shut down receivers to win the superbowl . Deion in the world series batted 533 , one strike out , 2 doubles ,2 walks 5 stolen bases , one throw out at the plate , no errors led both teams in on base percentage If the braves would've been able to win , Sanders would've been easily the mvp of the world series . That year regular season Sanders hit 301 , 26 stolen bases , 14 triples which led all mlb players . Bo could never dream of anything close . Hands down , Deion Sanders was a far better two sport athlete than Bo. But I get it , bo was big broke some bats , ran up a wall and hit some bombs between his 150 strikeouts every season . One time bo and deion played against eachother in baseball , bo hit 3 hr , deion walked twice then hit a screaming line drive to bo , bo dove for the ball and missed it terribly his huge body crashed to the ground separating his shoulder , Dion never stopped running hitting an inside the park home run . Football , bo just stiff armed Deion out of the way . Bo knows size and speed, But Deion was far better at both . Bo was outwardly , publicly humble an advertisers golden goose . Likeable guy Deion was brash , when asked by a reporter, Deion replied , they dont pay me to be humble , they pay me to win .

If you watch Barry Sanders NFL run highlights, You'll notice he never broke some very long runs like Bo Jackson did. Barry was VERY quick but a lot of defensive backs could catch him from behind on a long run. Bo Jackson got caught from behind less times than you have fingers on your right hand. The famous 88yrd run where Bo Jackson got caught on the 1yrd line by Kansas city corner back Rod Jones was the rare exception. If you watch that run, Bo had cut back all the way across the field before breaking it open, So Bo probably ran more than 100 actual yards on that play. Bo said his "tank was on empty", he was exhausted at the 20yrd line and it's easy to believe it. Also remember Rod Jones was all American track star in college and had won national titles in track. All 3 listed in this video's title were once in a life time incredible athletes that we were very luck to see play. I wish we had gotten to see more of Bo Jackson play football.
