Amen. Important to dive deeper into Mephibosheth's links to David, Jonathan and King Saul. And how God made it possible for Mephibosheth to rise up in victory, after being dropped Lodabar and being fully restored before recognizning the wealth that he gained in this life. Exodus 20:3, 20:6-8, 14:14, 23:25, Joel 3:10, 2:25-26, Nahum 1:7-9, Malachi 3:6-10, 3:13-18, Matthew 6:19-21, 6:33, 10:31-33, 11:28-30, 18:18, 19:26, 21:21, Titus 2:13, 3:5, Jude 1:21 and Revelation 3:20, 1:18, 3:19-20, 16:15, 21:4, 21:1-5, 1:8, 22:13, 14;12, 19:1, 19:9 🙏🏾🤝🏾💪🏾🌊💞🌊🌄 Stay safe and encouraged everyone!

Thank you! Curious how I've never heard of the name but remember how Saul's grandson was crippled. Later, the man King David sought to honor. I didn't connect the two before. Duh. Then again I was a teen so... 😅

Thank you for this fresh perspective about Jonathan's son, Methibosheth. I have recalled this story more than a few times, but it is good to hear the expanded account to include what happened to King David's household (Mephibosheth, who dined at the king's table each day), and especially when King David's son, Absalom, rebelled and tried to sieze his father's throne. This man was betrayed, yet remained loyal to his father Jonathan's covenant friend, King David. It is a lasting testimony of his character as a humble man and faith in God for care & provision. 🙏🕊✝️❤️
