Louisa's technical proficiency is undeniable, as she executes complex runs and riffs with ease. But it's the raw emotion she injects into every performance, coupled with that distinctive rasp, that truly sets her apart. Louisa's voice is a gift, and it's a joy to listen to her sing.

You were 17 years old the day you won x Factor. I don't understand how you're not competing with the top singers. I swear your voice is a legend.
@bjarnyg

in the end it's really about the SONGS, not so much your voice. talent is overrated, a good singer will have the same chance of getting to the top of the charts as a great singer. you can have everything going for you, but without the songs you still have nothing. most superstars are not great singers. like taylor swift. if you strip away all the fame and hoopla, you'll hear a very average voice. but she's still a megastar. and on the other side you have all these amazing singers out there who never gets very far. like louisa.
@nealparkinson6779

It's the nasty of the music industry. Songs like this and the ballads she sang during the X Factor is and was her niche. The powers that be, and I assume she did, too, wanted her to be a "Pop" sensation. I know it's a cliche, but "You Dance with the one that brought you". Rarely, an Artist can jump Genra. Some do and are extremely successful. Ie Taylor Swift. And some very good groups or people don't. Ie Bon Jovi's country songs. In Nashville, there is a question/saying/joke that goes like this: What's the difference between an Excellent Guitarist and a Large Pizza? The pizza can feed a family of 4 for the night. The underlining point being, you can be GREAT! but you have to be marketable to find success in the music industry. Louisa Johnson, is absolutely awesome, she will never out sale Cardi B on "Club Music". That being said, had she stuck with her Roots, she could be comparable to Bette, Celine, or Barbara. The "Payoff" is less and harder to achieve, but I think, no, I know this is the genra Louisa should have stayed with. Janice Joplin never sang Disco. Have you ever wondered "Why"? Louisa's problem. The people she trust. The people who got her to where she is today, are the very people that has sent her down the wrong road. She doesn't need to walk away from people like Mac and PhD, she needs to RUN! To someone like David Foster! Another cliche, "If it feels like you're running in mud.......the simple solution is to get out of the mud!" Louisa's problem isn't the music industry it's the music genra she choose, or the one chosen for her. Does she want 200 people dancing to her songs in the club, or 2,000,000 sing along with 2:14 her songs as they drive to work? (Which BTW, I do with her "I believe I can Fly" from the X Factor. I play it on a loop. I sometimes believe I am personally responsible for half the "Plays" for that song. Lol) Please don't think I am a Hater or Naysayer. To the contrary, I like Louisa and I love her voice. I think she should be in the Pop or Dance Club genra. I just think she needs to look at her Day Planner, and recognize everyone she has a meeting with is probably her problems and are the ones who are hindering her success. Despite their good intentions. Producers make or break you. Even the ones you can't stand. Ie Mutt Lang. Shania wouldn't have been have successful had she NOT hooked up with that Ahole. It is what it is. I would recommend David Foster or Mutt Lang for Louisa. David is just nicer!

@@nealparkinson6779 well i don't know what her true genre is. but no matter what genre your in, you really gotta be careful with the people you surround yourself with, one person can screw the whole thing up. in the end it's really about the choices you make. if you think about it, everything is a choice, the people you work with, the songs you choose, whether you wanna give up or not, how you treat people and so on. this is far more important than any talent. dua lipa seems to have made some good choices.

@bjarnyg Typically true, but as I understand it, the Winners of these television shows are basically Indentured Servant. Take Kelly Clarkson. She didn't make it big until her contractual obligations were complete. She, like I assume Louisa should do, ran away as fast as she could. Take charge of her own career. I always like the story of Lee Greenwood. A very successful writer. He couldn't get anyone to record a particular song he wrote. So he decided to record and release it himself. The song "God Bless the USA" The rest is history! I don't cater to, Dogma. We make our own paths through life, not what others believe we should do. Taylor Swift, re-released every song she had been under Contractual Agreement for, just so she could get paid. The music industry is cutthroat. That's the bottom line. The streets are littered with One Hit Wonders. Not that the artist wasn't any good. they just had bad managers and piss poor producers. Toby Keith was a rising star with the Columbia Records, but he would NOT show a united front with the Dixie Chics with their controversy, so he left and started his own label Show Dogs. Again, the rest is history. Simular story with the Beatles. Would you like for me to speak about Michael Jackson? Lol
@bjarnyg

@@nealparkinson6779 yes as i said, decisions. kelly clarkson could have made a different decision and maybe she wouldn't get big (not talking about her body here). one hit wonders are one hit wonders cause that's the only great song they had, i don't think it has anything to do with management and producers. blaming the music industry for your own failures is a recipe for disaster. but i guess it's easier to do that than to deal with your own shortcomings.
