I'm 54, and a creative, empathic, former lpn. Now, taking accounting and payroll. Took me 5 years to dust off after chemo for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and getting to this place of doing something different and make something shift in my financial life. 2 weeks in, and holy cow...here I go...and I believed I wasn't a "math person". Flying in the face of that.

This new form of content on this channel (the amalgamation of previous videos) is nice, but its hard to determine when they were recorded and where they are from. I think it would be very helpful if the team could put dates and links to the original interview next to the time stamps. Cheers!

Jordan Peterson and Tom have literally been one of the reasons I am still here today 💜I'm 27 and life hit me pretty hard. I'm actually coming up with a resource that helped me become the man I am today. I used to live in Miami around street violence, I used to eat $3 a day, 25 cents noodles, expired toast and canned campbell tomato soup. I survived the Boston Marathon Bombing which was a few feet away and I saw all the blood the people screaming and I was alone at 18. I also used to live in a room with no kitchen, trash bag as a window and bugs crawling on me at night. I also took boxing to protect myself and learned how to defend against bigger threats. Now I live in a cabin in the north of Sweden where I go down to a lake to breathe and heal my past and I post on KZitem to help others who need it the most. I'm going to come up with 20 minute mini documentary and hope people can use my story to help motivate them.

it is so touching to see Jordan so emotionally raw, so honest, and humble. Vulnerable and human! Much love to you @19:40 Tom, I loved how you let yourself reach out to Jordan, I can tell you were shocked. You raised to the occasion, you matched his level of openness and it was really beautiful to see... two humans, opening their hearts and speaking from their hearts. Jordan is severely depressed... if he wasn't that intelligent and profound in his thinking, he would actually be really happy about what he achieved in his life... however, his knowing of what is important in life and "reality" is preventing him from enjoying himself. Suffering and living life with intensity, is what brings the best or worst in people.

Dr. Peterson, you are not controversial. You speak about truth and ground them in facts and easy to understand examples from stories most people are familiar with. People don't like truth when it addresses their faults. We are all failures in many ways. Some people realize it and want to grow up and be our best. You may force Inconvenient feelings in people, but that's a gift. That's loving your neighbor as yourself, just like you explained. You are a brilliant man and a gift to humanity. I love so many things about this conversation. One of them is how Jordan is not 'emotionally sober' or 'in control', yet still keeping 'a handle' on his authentic and vulnerable position. This is where the magic of humanness is, in our ability to take right actions, align ourselves towards coherence, even when we are not feeling fully coherent. I believe that some people either can’t go that deep or don’t want to bc in order to be completely open to conversations like these, much less completely and fully appreciate them like I do, a person had to either be willing to look at themselves and grow or already have started the work presenting with an open mind to see things in a new way that most likely will probably be different than anything they could have ever imagined. I love you Jordan Peterson. Thank you Thank You Thank You ❤❤❤❤

Dr. Peterson has spent his life searching for the very meaning of life, and humanities psychological successes and failures in it. Most cannot fathom the depth of his perception of humanities ignorance and greed, nor the pain it's cause him in finding understanding in the same. There is a reason that the tree of knowledge was a curse and that it was completely separate from the tree of life. When you can see why this is true, you will then understand why we suffer inside ourselves for our own ignorance.

1:18:45 That also perfectly explains what it feels like to interact with people who are ideologically possessed. They're not actually speaking to the person in front of them. They're speaking to an idea in their own mind, and you're only valuable to them if you share that same belief. Heaven forbid you disagree with that idea. It's difficult to be vulnerable with anyone who perceives you as an existential threat anytime you disagree with them.

So good. JP is speaking from a position of knowledge and enlightenment that only comes from working as a clinical professional. Jordan has read pretty much every book on the topic of the human condition, and what it means to exist in a hierarchical society. Every time someone confronts me regarding one of Jordan's viewpoints (my kids...), I ask, "Well... what was your takeaway after reading all of his books?" They freeze, there is a small trickle of sweat that forms on the right side of the temple, and a dull glaze sweeps over their eyes...and then it becomes apparent. All they know was derived from TikTok or some uneducated squid on Twitter. Read. Inform yourself, and build your own POV that can only come from doing your own research and work. Jordan is Truth.

Because you have CARE in your soulsheart and the pain of the humans darkness is felt throughout every cell in your being. 49 is your number and the value of that will make sense if you happen to see this message. Your compassion is beyond human and your voice is our gift and I am eternally grateful for your purpose. If there is one person I could have the chance to meet in this life it is you Mr. Peterson. Your unworthy is worthy of every man's unworthiness It's simply simple and the solutions are the solution to overcome the problems in this unproblematic life If we grow up together strong we become all one alone and that's the beauty. Being in the beauty one must begin being. Giving in is never an option no matter how beat down you may feel. Get back up get it on and go out there because each new day we get to give another the strength to grow. This is your loving hearts kindness and it's a better day with your voice of Sense. A pure treasure and I have hope that one day a moment with meeting you on this soulular journey. I hurt for the world everyday because I feel everything in every human and it is overwhelming and exhausting at times. Isolation has been my best friend and worst enemy and finding balance is the challenge I seem stuck in and these talks have given me the strength to grow my abilities and innerstand my truth of purpose in this life. Communication is my weakness that I practice daily to become successfully better at to be my best me to help heal others hearts. I love love and believe love is absolutely the greatest of all for humans and my wish is every being I touch knows their beauty and worth and feels loves light so they shine brighter and they get to give on and on. Care is absent and worth fighting to get back into those lost. Begins with 1 Two to grow 3 to see Trinity trans4ms

Yes, it’s very easy to continually be self deprecating and reject yourself. It becomes habit and you fail externally but “improve” internally. But you’re unhappy and a bad role model. When you have enough money and enough life experience, you end up reinventing the wheel often if you’re alone. It's hard to see JP going through the mental turmoil in spite of all he knows. Should he consider, everything that goes on in mind or thoughts need not be given consideration, especially if going behind those thoughts is only making it worse. Thoughts which in whichever direction ends up leaving u feel worthless are thoughts that don't need attention or in other words such thoughts are worthless. Similarly it is natural for one to want success in their 2 nd book, but all factors that determine success are not in ones hand. Once he has done his part abandon it. This thought process maybe difficult if someones survival is dependent on the outcome, even in such cases one need to abandon things that one cannot control so that one can move forward...📿💖. That's the only option one has many times 🌼💪

Mr. Peterson, I wasn't going to quote scripture but I had this thought when you said you don't know why you are so controversial...but it is in black in white in the Bible, "Those with ears, let them hear; those with eyes let them see." Not everyone is at a place to hear or see. No matter the intention of the information. It is also God's word that He gave us gifts..and this is yours. The voice of the masculine male has been silenced and suppressed for all of history in one form or another. Speaking up for that at this time is going to be controversial. Maybe it would have been at any time. The masculine male has always had to press down their emotions, their beliefs, and not be recognized for their sacrifices to the world. I believe that with comfort comes lack of growth, and if you are uncomfortable, you are growing...you are learning something new about yourself that is imperative. If you are making others uncomfortable, maybe they will someday come to that same understanding. God's word is what people need to remember. And the world the Lord created is built in a hierarchy...a sobering truth. I could go on and on, but I have said what I started to say. Maybe in the future and educated and open mind will become so scarce that we will find the value in that someday soon. God bless you and this host!
