5:56 Ohms law is still valid, you have to increase the resistance of the load, as resistance of transmission line is not economical to reduce. (this is done by a step down transformer i.e. high input impedance and low output impedence). This way, when high voltage is used, and high resistance load,current is decreased and thus power loss is reduced. (A step down transformer has high input impedence and low output impedance that reduces current at the main power lines but has high current in the output side)

Current is increased in a step down, voltage is decreaded.😑😑

No, at the input side of a step down transformer, current is low (impedance is high) compared to the output side

Big youtubers like electroboom and styropyro explain properly but their videos are not as simplified and hard to grasp sometimes. I have noticed that indians simplify the videos to the basics so its super comfortable and easy to understand...thumbs up from the west (Rajasthan) 👍

I watched your video, i like your video because it finished all of the doubt of me about ACcurrent You should carry on and do not lose the hope. Thank you

Thanks for the explanation. One thing you mention that others skip over is that transformers can be used only with AC voltage. It would be great to explain why reducing DC voltage is not easy.

If resistance of lines is 5 ohms in first example it can't change to 20 ohms if they are the same lines

Hello, I said that, to maintain same power, voltage should be increased. I forgot to say that load impedance should be increased as well. Load impedance is increased by using step down transformers...

Why are they doing extreme hv dc now though
@HKCREATESUNIQUE

Actually DC is more efficient because it does not care about inductance or capacitance of the power lines....But increasing and decreasing voltage is hard in case of DC.In case of AC ,voltage can be changed using transformer and thats why AC is so common
