@@eretabegardens thanks so much for your help. One more question? How often do you fertilize your figs? Weekly, biweekly, monthly?
@eretabegardens

@@nafisanabiel2457 Always happy to help. I do it weekly on Thursdays except if it rains from Thursday thru Saturday or Sunday then I leave it till thursday before fertilizing it.

I watched this on replay and I agree the size of the variety of figs are different. But, some of my figs seem like they are too small. Birds are still eating them small😀

Why did you have to dig out your figs?

The HOA of my former subdivision said I didn't get permission before growing my fruit trees so i have to dig them out. We bought this house not in a subdivision. I have in-ground fig trees. I will make video about it.

Ya my in ground fig tree i have 2...The problem was it was small, little growth... basically no fruit. You have to water it constantly to get it going. As soon as ive been watering it it took off and fruit immediately showed. So in MAY, You should be watering your trees if theres not much rain. My 1st tree didnt have this problem tho, both trees are on opposite sides. Idk why its weird

Yeah giving your fig tree nitrogen at the right time will help it grow leaves quicker to the fruiting phase. When it's at the fruiting phase I don't think nitrogen is important or should be used. Prioritize fruit growth not leaves. Use the other aka Phosphorus and potassium. Moreso Phosphorus because it specifically has to do with Fruiting phase. I got some good Phosphorus fertilizer coming in , I recommend the Fox Farm *Bat Guano...
