Hi Trudy 👋 am Kenyan. And yes dear.. we also put peanut butter in porridge, or peanut meal which is sold around Kirinyaga Road.. very healthy. I discovered this when I was weaning my baby, cos porridge is the first food you introduce baby when they get to 6 months cos it's a light meal 😊 so Trudy, try it. Actually, I put peanut butter even in my beef stew. Very yummy 😋

Peanut butter is meant for porridge, cereals and bread just like margarine and butter. You should mix your porridge with peanut and margarine whilst it's hot so that it melts and blends. You can even add a bit of milk.

Peanut butter mixed with porridge was the ‘in-thing’ in boarding school yonks back as teens ! Adding a spoonfuls of peanut butter while your porridge cook makes it wonderfully rich and creamy ! When the peanut butter got finished- that was the end of the honeymoon period & back to the humdrum of eating tasteless porridge laced with brown/ white sugar…yuck 😮😢!

That fruit is called a Monkey Orange. But you're not supposed to eat it before eating a meal coz you might throw up. I love how Zimbabwe turns brown during winter and very green in summer. Beautiful. I miss Zimbabwe.

Unfortunately, historically, interracial marriages have been the cause of the collapse of African empires and civilizations. The biggest loss of which was ancient Egypt. Race mixing was also the reason why Europeans infiltrated Africa to make the slave trade so successful. Also, interracial marriages were the weapon behind the colonialization that followed.
