The sexism in k-12 education runs deep. On several occasions, I would be talking to a friend who’s a guy, and the teacher would scold him and not me. I would let the teacher know that I was the one talking and not him, and only on one occasion did they respect my answer and penalize me instead. One teacher said that she was speaking to my friend and that I should mind my business, and another actually admitted she judges boys more harshly for misbehaving.
@zachdirects
Жыл бұрын
Trust me as a dude that taught k-12 as a substitute in college for some extra cash they treat you bad as a teacher. Some are happy that your there but I’ve been cornered by administrators for thinking I was just some random creep that came into the school. Plus they didn’t give us badges so that might be it too but none of my female sub friends have ever had this happen to them.
@jordansprojects

@@zachdirects That is horrible I am sorry to hear that. My brother is a sub and previously was a teacher for elementary school, and luckily (to my knowledge) he has not been treated as a pervert; but I think he has the added legitimacy of a teaching credential.That being said, you shouldn't need to have a teaching credential to not be treated as some kind of pedophile.😵💫 Obviously keep kids safe and uphold boundaries but treating all men as predators isn't really doing that. Conversely, people at the park have let their kids walk right up to me. I am a complete stranger- it is irresponsible and dangerous to let your little babies walk up to random women. The parent could be as far as 10 yards away while their small child is 1 foot away from me.

I recently read a WSJ article by Aaron M. Renn discussing why men and teens are flocking to "Red Pill" influencers like Tate. He focuses on the issues in churches specifically, but many of his points are valid in other sectors of society. Renn says that men are not treated like they're valuable by themselves. Churches exclusively preach about masculinity as being self-sacrificing and servant leadership. While those are high virtues, it seems as though the paradigm of masculinity is such that men only are as valuable as the services they can provide. That necessarily leads to the logical conclusion that if a man is no longer able to provide, he is worth nothing. That a man removed from his enviroment, a man as himself and nothing else, is worthless. Renn goes on to say that paradigm has seeped into many aspects of church culture (again, focusing on churches but applicable elsewhere). Men's outreach is done nearly exclusively to bring in families. We are simply a means to an end. It's no wonder that men are checking out. "You don't want us, you just want what we can do for you." In desperation, men turn to the only alternative. The Red Pill people give a very shallow vision of masculinity, but it's better than self-destruction for an ungrateful society. "Real men drive BIG MANLY CARS and RAIL PUSS and SMOKE CIGARS" is perfomative machismo and ultimately a grift. Yet the online influencers know how to talk to men. Mixed in with the dudebro caricatures, there is often good advice. Health, fitness, and career success are aspirational goals that men can pursue for their own benefit. How to fix men you ask? Treat them like people in their own right, not just servants for women and children.

It’s true that women don’t want men in their current collective form. Honest question: why would they? When men call each other ‘girls’ as an insult, and the most dangerous thing a women can do is to be around a man. Women are choosing 4B and it’s benefiting them in every way. But when men refrain from being around women? It hurts them. Wonder why.

It’s true that men aren’t wanted in their current collective form. I genuinely want to ask: why would they be? They call each other ‘girls’ as an insult. The riskiest thing a woman can do is be around the opposite gender. Women are choosing 4B and it’s benefiting them in every way. But when men refrain from the company of women? It hurts them. Wonder why. Wish this was more obvious to people… women see these issues very clearly.

I started noticing my friends in high school rely more and more on online relationships, other than working out their mental health issues. That was in. 2000-2002. What happened was, these people who were often anti social, started realizing that their parents would let them live at home their whole lives, they never had to work and they could take their frustrations out on people online. Back then it was msn messenger and online chat for us.

I just finished my degree in Poli Sci/history and man did I notice my classes being female dominated. I took 1 philosophy class as a throwaway elective and I think I was... 1 of 3 men in a class of 40. Its crazy how much men are falling out on higher education. In terms of friendships I agree. When I was a kid friendship came naturally because we were in an environment conducive to making friends all the time. We didn't need to spill our feelings to each other - although admittedly we could use some of that occasionally. We had a basement with an Xbox and no requirement to spend 40+ hours a week on a job/chores and that was enough. Its not a lack of emotional vulnerability, its just a lack of access/structural support for friendship.

Nowadays the girls have to ask the guys out since they accepted the peaceful life. Highschool is a hell hole and it teaches you how to deal with people and feelings. I had friends its not hard to make male friends. Would female friends be good? To me ive seen heard and been around some id say no but maybe its cuz they didnt fully catch my interest. Some were beautiful though some did and some didnt talk to me. So i only talked to the ones that talked to me. Dont trip about needing girls in your life or else youre just gonna hurt yourself. "how do i talk to/get women?" is the wrong question altogether and following any answer, can set someone down the wrong path. A better approach would be to seek out a better relationships in general, with others and yourself. Being interested in others personalities, interests and challenges will benefit you platonically and romantically, as well as help put your own life in perspective. Also, going to college is not a blanket solution for education and career advancement. I wouldn't go unless you have a plan to pay off the debt you'll incur. The easiest route is to keep working, reading and making connections with people, especially older people. You'll never know who you'll meet or what mundane task you will be doing that will give you that idea for a business or set you on an unexpected career path.

Because yall cut them way too much slack, THESE MEN ARE NOT WATCHING REDPILL TO GROW. They like seeing women be disrespected it makes them feel better about their own shortcomings. Those discussions are not beneficial to average men and their audience wont benefit. Its entertainment, the women keep coming back because the losers who watch keep subbing to these womenns only fans Its just an entire ouroboros of degeneracy. U already know how to do what they tell u to do, “get a skill, market it, make money, get women” They only talk money cuz that’s all they have, and the women they attract are hoes because thats what they project💀💀💀 A respectable church women would spit on the forehead of these dumb podcast heads

The truly sad thing is how society actively misleads men, so they end up resorting to these people.

As a married man who's been in two long-term relationships, your advice is pretty damn spot on! However i gotta disagree with the dating apps thing. Dating apps were a god send to me and that's how I met my wife. I think too many young guys just dont use them properly and tend to be impatient. Dating is a slow burn, not a quick flare up. Sure its possible to hook up within a night but it's very rare. Still, you got good stuff here and talking smack about Fresh and Fit will always be entertaining.

I agree with you on everything but the dating apps. It works for a minority of folks, but the majority of men are better off without it.

Agree completely on this topic. I feel that the only reason trully that these type of Fresh & Fit podcasts, even the Tate and Hasan personalities are very prolific is because it seems that the only way we as men on the online space can find venues to talk are on these types of platforms. I have had the most meaningful conversations when I made the choice to just venture out and have good friendships. I can't recommend enough that it is the best thing I ever did, and it all started with basic chit chat to then move onto topics that we really did care about to then a full fledged conversation about what we feel or what is going on in our minds. Sports and other stuff like that is great to find people in the same mindset but it can be anything were you feel confortable being yourself and not feeling like you have to put up a front or a mark of how you think you should behave. From then on, I have been also doing better at communicating and thinking in a broader sense; which has also helped me with my own separate path in finding a partner. Sure, it goes down to go outside and touch grass but it's more than that. Ultimately do it because you truly want to find new stuff out there and get to know a better you

Common Kahmal W as always, but I think the problem will always stem from people like Andrew Tate and Hasan having completely different ideas of what men could be with almost no in-betweens. This makes it feel like only one type of man can exist when that’s not true, several different men can exist with their own feminine and masculine traits.

How the hell am I, someone so disabled I'm considered too much of a liability to be allowed to work, more "found" than the new crop of men? I did a year of prison in my 20s for god's sake! I should not be better than anyone let alone almost everyone!!!

Yeah, well the advice that men receive online isn't great. But let's at least feel grateful it's not as bad as the advice women receive online. I call it the Mantis principle. Yeah, in general there's a stong dislike for men in our society, but at least if someone likes me I know they like me for me. Women don't have this luxury. All the advice they receive is about showing how pro-woman the poster is.

I’m not sure if ur ever gonna see this but I saw ur Hassan video in my recommended page the other day and as a fellow Hassan hater I clicked on it and agreed with everything. Then I watched the alpha male video and not only did I agree with everything and laugh a good amount, I got something deeper out of it. I truly can’t believe how similarly I think we see the world. This isn’t a para social stalker thing either it’s just nice to hear from someone as down to earth and non partisan as u. I got a lot out of the ending of this video. I for some reason cut everyone but my gf off when I graduated high school and since then (2 years ago) I can count the number of times I’ve seen any of my old friends on one hand. But ur right. I’m not depressed surprisingly in fact since I cut everyone off I’ve been happier than before but that’s probably just due to having a great relationship and a sense of purpose from my job as a carpenter, but I’m missing something in my life and I think it’s probably a lack of connection. So I’m gonna get at least two friends new or old within the next 3 months and I’m gonna see how I feel. I really like all ur content and I’m gonna finish ur catalog and wait for more. I can’t believe u don’t have more subs
