In this episode of the Morale Monologue, I’m discussing the importance of asking for help. When I was in school in the late ’60s, ’70s, and early ’80s, many of the schools I went to didn’t have services for those of us who needed assistance. Schools now offer handicapped services to help you or your child during the day, such as with going to the bathroom, eating lunch, taking notes, etc. Never be embarrassed to advocate for you or your child.
