Bigger companies have more overhead and will generally be able to charge more based on their reputation/experience. Also depends on the area. I am a small solo operator and my minimum is $150 so even 700 sqft would be $150 There are fixed costs to moving the truck and time. But if you Find somebody that's just doing this as a side job. And therefore doesn't have any overhead, they won't mind charging $100. Of course if you go with that type, they aren't legitimate and can't afford to fix problems. So price depends on area and how much risk you want to take on.

I’m young and worked concert and asphalt for almost 11 years and this is the biggest scam of all time. Sealer literally is for the top of the asphalt it just looks nice. Yeah some soaks down into it you literally have all the edges and where it meets any other unsealed product. You get all the rain moisture and other bullshit from the edges where it’s grassy and soil and dirt which is why the drive way will still crack and chip and settle at the same rate it was going to before. You also do super shitty work. Two monkeys could do this job but it’s takes two people to actually take care of the customer and not constantly have overlap with the sealer or get it all in peoples yards. Also it doesn’t go away with one mow you dick if you get a bunch of sealer in one spot it’ll kill everything including the grass in that spot and I guarantee you’ve had this complaint as your eyes seemed to be closed anytime you edge something
