Focusing on one is rarely a bad idea, in engineering and in life 😊

catia is the benchmark of how a cad system should be, period. I wish you guys could make a linux😉 version too, just like proE used to have.

"easy to learn creo" well... hmmm

Creo has made many strides to be easier to learn and use since Pro/ENGINEER and earlier Creo versions. And the script writer really wanted people to associate ease with Creo.

I like a lot of your training videos, so this one pains me to disagree with. Creo is in no way shape or form easy to learn! It is NOT intuitive whatsoever! It is also so, so, so tedious to do anything; requiring so many clicks of the mouse to do one simple thing. Documentation leaves much to be desired and is written for someone who is already familiar with Creo. Many times PTC tech support has referred me to the community support page because they can't provide the information I need. It's obvious they have no desire to make their product attractive to new users by bringing their user interface into this decade. Instead, they're working on developing virtual reality tools. I've learned that you have to think like a software developer instead of like a mechanical or electrical oriented person. All the schools and colleges in our area won't teach it because it is just too frustrating. Sorry, I blame PTC and not you! Your videos have been a necessity for me to figure things out. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hello, I'm going to assume your compliments are reserved for Dave Martin (kzitem.info) who narrated and recorded this video for us, and not to... PTC, who runs this account. That said, it's an active goal of PTC product management to continually improve the user experience and ease of use of Creo. We've made a lot of progress since, say, a decade ago, but there is still more to go. It's getting incrementally better with every release, and core customer-driven enhancements were a focus of Creo 8 and will be a focus of Creo 9 as well. As for documentation, that team is actively evaluating how to make Help a better experience. (For example, by producing and embedding more videos; as the KZitem guy I've been involved in some of those conversations.) I'd encourage you to give them specific suggestions at their listed email, mcad-documentation@ptc.com You might also get significant value by looking at our Creo training courses: www.ptc.com/en/ptc-university/training-catalogs/creo-training Take care!

Wait, I agree that Creo has plenty things to improve, but don't touch that lovely user interface! It was a nice leap when was brought in the Wildfire 5 version when I was using ProE 2001
