Harris Community Village, an elementary school repurposed as a shelter, hosted Gov. Cox’s ceremony to sign nine pieces of legislation related to homelessness, mental health and Utah’s system of homeless services. The facility, with 44 emergency shelter beds and 66 permanent supportive housing apartments, is one of the latest additions to the state’s system of homeless services.
