The idea of Jesus descending into Hell is definitely mind-blowing! It raises so many questions about what really happened between His crucifixion and resurrection. 1 Peter 3:19 mentions Jesus preaching 'to the spirits in prison,' which hints at this mysterious journey. But I wonder, how should we truly understand this? Was it about proclaiming victory over death, or something deeper about freeing souls? It's a fascinating topic that challenges the way we think about the scope of His sacrifice.

It wasn’t a place of torment until Jesus rose out of it. Peter says “he preached unto the spirits in prison,” upon his death the saints of the Old Testament rose from it.

There's still sin, death and evil. Jesus didn't do anything.

Yes that’s true death, sin, and evil do exist Jesus told us to have peace in him in this world we will have trouble but take heart he has overcome the world. John 16:33. For this world relishing in evil now taking part of wicked agendas there time is coming. It will be terrible times for sinners similar to those of the days of Noah. The wicked will seek death and yet it will escape them. God’s people will receive a reward immeasurable to what individuals settle for on Earth. Not only this Jesus say I have not come to bring peace on Earth but a sword. Jesus sees the heart of man and every wicked thing. Matthew 10:34. I can’t say that my savior hasn’t done anything because he’s done everything for me. God is a just God we are all accountable for what we say and do. It’s an honor to wake up everyday living in a world where I know King Jesus rules with sovereignty. Jesus is coming back. ❤
