I believe that social media and the internet can be a double-edged sword, often causing more harm than good to our society by promoting radical movements and leaving little room for common ground. People tend to focus on the negatives of feminism and men's movements without recognizing the potential for growth. Simply making it work to one's advantage doesn't solve the underlying issues, which modern society often fails to acknowledge/cares to listen to.

Good point. There are positives in everything no matter how negative they may be.

Experts say when you research for some healthy diet, seemingly innocent content, month later or 3 months later the social medioa offer you more harsh version about anorexia. even though you dont want to become anorectic, you just reasearched some vegetable recipes. Adults may understand the difference, but children and teens may feel confused because at that age they dont analyze some info very much. but the adults overanalyze everything which isnt healthy as well.

Not that you're doing so but it would be a grave mistake to underestimate the potency of what you see manifesting through social media because at this point you're literally seeing people's unspoken thoughts that are usually restrained from manifesting in nature by an id/ego dynamic (not going into that, but I'm sure people who know what that is will get my point) and those are usually all-or-nothing thoughts that in practice we would not usually bring any further forward. But that doesn't mean it is not severely impacting our visible behavior. Clearly, it has! And when you consider the amount of effort and kinetic energy that has to be consistently manifested and applied to damage and change something as big as the dynamic between men and women that by the time you see the cumulative effects in the real world, it has at least passed the point of no return, if not far-exceeded it. It can be salvaged, but what I mean by "no return" is that enough minds have subscribed to this problem in a negatively-reinforcing way that it has now taken on a life of its own and will *not just go away if we don't actively stop it. This is how humans have always worked, but we've designed a system that serves only to fast-track the reinforcement unnaturally until it has nowhere else to go but outside of our own heads. One of the more serious detrimental effects of social media is it provides effortless communication to the world. When effort is removed, you open the way for those who have no business in that arena to now take part. With social media, now anyone with a mental disorder or a gripe can bitch about it online, and the whole damn thing turns into a reinforcement echo chamber for whatever damage you may have to share. And with content designed to be short, sweet and focused on emotion (since the overwhelming majority of people are now mentally conditioned to only process in short, emotional bursts), you get a legion of like-minded people latching on, propping up the 'influencer' in the comments section just so they can hopefully get the tiny dopamine hit from their contribution being validated by how many likes their comment gets. Or, the grand prize: a response from the OG with their 'like' or even their comment. And on and on the echo chambers go. Excellent content as always, and kudos for being so hyper-aware, although I've decided to distance myself from this sort of content. I never get responses to things I write anyway (no they're not all this long) and I'm finding that I'm at fault for the same thing I'm describing which is that I came into all this info looking for answers in the middle of the road and all this content has sufficiently shoved me to the side of it... I'm starting to hate women just *because of it all, even though I'm not even part of this recent dating disaster scene so much (50 and alone). That was never my desire nor intent, but I'm starting to believe it just through repetitive exposure to thoughts and ideas that I agree with. I'm recognizing that with each exposure, a little more of my previously-optimistic starting viewpoint becomes tarnished. Social media solves nothing, is my takeaway - no matter what the intention. EDIT - just wanted to mention, I paused at 1:02 to write all this, and am now watching the rest. Again, wanted to say, you nailed it. This content is outside of the problem dynamic and thank you for posting videos that are not galvanizing one side of the coin or the other.

What about the hate that hate produced? The hatred that men have shown women for the last 12,000+ years? The rape, murders, enslavement, genocides, wars? The misogynistic religions, the denying women medical rights, body autonomy, hell houses and credit cards? The world didn’t begin 60 years ago. Just like men’s hatred of women didn’t happen 60 years ago. This is a war that men waged on women thousands of years ago and women are responding now.
