@Garrosh Hellscream Are you being serious? Because those "huge rocks" are not really that much of an obstacle for many ATV's, especially at slow speeds like this. For example, have you ever witnessed rock bouncers doing their thing? These "huge rocks" might as well be a paved road in comparison.

Yeah it doesn't make sense. How are the wheels being driven unless there's small motors inside the wheels, but I don't see how power would even get to such a small motor. I think it's being pulled and then some editing magic is happening.

Try telling that to Nasa specs that also include reverse as a must have. It’s interesting idea, not much more. Even just large tires are far more versatile and offer more possible terrains you can cross. By deflating large tires you can also easily go over mud, sand, etc. Try going over mud or sand with this contraption and you’d find out why it isn’t practical. Videos showing only successes are always deceiving. When you have to succeed with a list of parameters it’s always far harder than it seems, compared to just making stuff for fun, and showing only the parts where the idea was successful.

Actually it should be extremely durable. Could possibly last 30yrs+. All that can really go wrong is the basic controller, switches and the individually powered wheels and suspension may require an occasional replacement/adjustment.

@узер1244 а сдесь почти вариантов нет..и калесики скорее всего устроены на основе храповика...тоесть крутятся только в одном направлении..тоесть допустим из 20 ног...13 ..14 всегда будут в зацепе с поверхностью..а те которые потеряли контакт...те передвигаются вперед...и зацепившись продолжают толкать это чудовище в перед...а поворот осуществляется скорее всего поворотом двигателя с маховиком со смещенным центром...может я не прав но я так вижу..
