That is exactly true, but clearly not in reverse cases. We had a vet, also from Sask Vet College just 2 years earlier. The difference is extreme. She pushes extreme care for everything, being so gung ho to do unwarranted and possibly life threathening surgeries for minor problems, as well as prescribing damaging drugs when not necessary. It is all about money to her, and has been defined as the biggest drug pusher vet in S Alberta by the salesman himself. I know of one case of her harming animals doing surgery and permanently damaging organs in the process or spaying, leaving a 6 mo old pup in need of massive medical treatment for the rest of its life. She must have thought it would be ongoing big $ for her practice. When our rescue came to us with both chronic diarrhea and ear infections, she wanted to do surgery on his ears and insisted we needed to get him on Hills despite the wheat being the cause, when I said we were not going Hills, her answer was she had medication to deal with the allergen. There isn't a vet or medical association that isn't in the pockets of the Big Food and Big Pharmacy corporations.

OMG! I've been saying this forever.. Veterinarians and Doctors push the big Pharma insurance fraud passing it onto the patients. TY for this video. Iam sharing. The vaccines the veterinarian doctors give out are by design like ours made to make us sick. I dont vaxx my pets.. Today I am 100% Right across the board.

These attitudes toward alternative methods being used by physicians and veterinarians are not new to me. In the area where I now live there is no availability of alternatives. I have traveled great distances seeking alternatives for myself and my animals. A vet who had saved my cat's life twice using alternatives lost his license to practice because of the death of one patient. Deaths occur in any practice, of course, but all his successes meant nothing to those who were lined up to destroy him. I've heard of similar cases with physicians. It's a scary world we live in.

It's no different with doctors for human health, who are told to prescribe what they are told, or face consequences. Holistic doctors have been killed for teaching natural healing. The FDA through a guy in prison for selling apricot kernels to people as a cancer treatment, because it put his cancer in remission. In prison, they would not let him have his apricot kernels, and his cancer came back. Then, they forced chemotherapy and radiation on him, because they make billion$ off off it. That is the treatment they want forced on people, and they force the doctors to push that treatment on people.

Dr. Jones has generously offered prompt and very effective assistance for my lab Luke. If I had visited a Vet the information he supplied would have cost me a few hundred dollars not to mention I have an extremely energetic pup so outings are stressful for us both. Never once in all his videos have I seen any of his products or even was I aware they existed. Yet I have seen him suggest over 30 inexpensive natural products. Yet another attack against an honest, compassionate caring individual that has taken the hard road by not allowing himself to be bullied or detoured from what he knows is right. you have my complete support Andrew. To be honest, I fear taking my dogs to the vet we currently have as they don't have much of a bedside manner; in addition to the fact that's it's always some expensive drug, rather than what we can possibly do naturally. Years ago my Cocker Spaniel had a reaction to a rabies shot and his eyes swelled up like crazy. They recommended Benadryl which brought the swelling down, yet a few months later, he came down with Glaucoma. Not that it was related at all..but it gave me a huge mistrust of the vets in our town. Still haven't found one I've liked much..

Thank you, Dr. Jones, for having the courage, compassion, and fortitude to lead the way in holistic pet care for animals and their owners everywhere. Change is always uncomfortable at first, but it takes ONE person to lead so that others may follow. I've wasted hundreds of dollars, this year alone, on treating my cocker spaniel's ear infection with expensive drugs that are not always effective. The last vet I went to told me that he just keeps dogs on antibiotics their entire life. Lunacy! I'm grateful to you and happy to spread the news about you-the vet with a heart! ❤️

Dear jc jc , My Aussie had the same thing jc. I'm still not sure what caused it!! Perhaps she got ahold of something outside when I wasn't watching. I don't know. I was baffled and went straight to Dr. Jones "archived" remedies. Within a week she was back to having a good firm stool. If your dog is anything like mine jc, she was so upset that she was "making a mess inside", but it didn't take much for me to assure her that it wasn't her fault!!! When she hears ( and Knows! ) the word " accident " she knows she's not in trouble!! Plus a lot of TLC helped her too. P.S.- Thank God I had plenty of newspapers I hadn't taken out to the recycling bin yet!!!! LOL Thanks Dr. Jones !!!

It must have been so difficult for you to take on this battle with the impact it has had on your gifted career. I agree with you about your philosophies and observations on the traditional VCA perspective. Dogs in other countries often live longer than they do in America and that does not include accidents. I have been raising Yorkshire Terriers for 26 years and I am currently a retired middle school science teacher. I am very capable of critically analyzing information as I have taught through experimentation science research. I have found your channel to be full of excellent advice and homeopathic solutions and compassion. I found your channel 4 days after my Borzoi died (along with thousands of dollars paid to the vet) and I pray more people come around to your way of practicing veterinary medicine. I just couldn't bring myself to take my other dog to the vet for an ear infection (he loves swimming in the lake) and I'm finding apple cider vinegar and coconut oil works just fine on him. MDs could learn a lot from you; it's no small feat standing up against big pharma for the well fare of those under your care. Again, blessings and thanks.

I am in the U.K. and apart from The Dogs Trust vets or PDSA - that's if you can actually get to the nearest clinic it can cost 1,000's for an operation. People just can't afford these prices. They rescue animals because they care, not because they are rich. That is why there is such appalling neglect. If you really love animals it really shouldn't be about profit - yes we all have to feed our families and make a living but I have yet to see a poor vet or doctor for that matter. So thank you Dr. Andrew Jones - its a great pity there aren't more vets with your commitment and compassion. One vet practice actually refused to treat my bitch because I said I didn't agree with the repeated vaccinations having had a labrador that only had the initial and booster vaccinations and lived to fifteen and a half years old and was healthy throughout his life. I also told them I did not agree with neutering as I have recently learned it can cause cancer. Okay you have 21 days of inconvenience but if you are a responsible owner you deal with it. I can confirm my beautiful black cross flat back retriever/collie died at just thirteen years old with a huge tumour attached to her spleen it was the size of a honey dew melon. She was a rescue dog from 7 months old and I had to agree to her being neutered by the R.S.P.C.A. as part of the adoption. Like Dr. Andrew's own dog she was eating well, exercising well, loving life. It was heart breaking. She even ran to the back door when the vet arrived to put her to sleep. I was heart broken and I will never forget my beautiful gentle natured friend. So I am with Dr. Andrews 100% in his homeopathic treatments. Dr. Andrew Jones is a Patch Adams to the veterinarian profession shame there aren't more about. We all know how the medical profession reacted to Patch Adam.!!!!!!!! God bless these men who stand for their beliefs.

I am so happy I found this channel. I am in dire need to find out my German's skin issues. I'm trying different things from the doc. It's a terrible loss for the BC Board, but a gain for all of us. To be so humble, real, and helpful in today's society is unheard of. You sir get a gold star in your crown. I guess the Board members send their dogs to a high-priced vet. You know...one who follows the rules even if they're wrong. Amazing how all that has changed. Can't be a good guy anymore. TY again Doc. Glad you're here. So glad!!!

Me too. I am so grateful I found this channel and this wonderful doctor. I also live in BC and I am just furious at the Vet industry for their over rated high priced costs. I wish Canada would create a universal health care system for pets that we can all pay into who are pet owners. And that we can have a variety of vets who care about holistic practices or normal ones, but with lower costs. If they truly care about animals, help us when we have a pet and are going through hard times. It's just ridiculous and outrageous what the vet industry has become. I hope Dr.Jones will get the credit and great attention he deserves to begin a new path of pet health care for others to embark on.

A voice for the animals. Someone with a voice of reason and compassion. Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge. And Kudos to you for standing up to stuffed shirts and their bully tactics.

+Valhalla Soap Company Great isn't he? There are a few of vets you have seen the damage done to our pets and are now out there helping pet parents. The likes of Will Falconer and Tom Lonsdale. Check out this video from Tom. The Mass Poisoning of pets by vets 1991- 2015 facebook.com/BlighParkPetHealthCentre/videos/962398440473395/ These vets, along with a few others and a lot of pet parents out there are the voice of our pets. I know, because I'm one of them. Together we will change the world to a better place for our pets

I'm new to your channel, just a couple of weeks, and being into natural meds and foods for my pets and we humans, I've learned a lot from your videos and recognised your genuine care for animals, our pets. But today, after seeing this video, i consider you a hero to animals and their owners!! Well done!!!! Not many like you around, because ot many care enough to see the scientific results of all medications or treatments. Thank you, Dr Jones!!!!

Stay strong, Dr. Jones. Although I am new to you and your products, I am a firm believer in alternative medicine, as it has helped me tremendously with my own health issues, and I hope your products will soon be helping my older cat with his. It's not always easy doing the right thing in this world and standing up to the establishment. You are courageous and a hero for animals. Bless you.

@Veterinary Secrets Wow! They really had it out for you. They don’t like being challenged. I’m going through something similar only with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Nova Scotia. Keep doing what you’re doing, and not being a sheep following everyone else. They don’t like it when anyone has a brain and can think for themselves! You’re the only vet I listen to! I’m so thankful you’re online and easy to access.

I have worked in the field for 18 years. I have worked with over 20 different Dr.s. Good for you for sticking up for your beliefs! I use allopathic medicine and homeopathic treatments for my pets. The longer in the field, the less vaccines I give. Wish I could bring my dogs to you! I know that most just go along with AVMA guidelines even if they disagree. It's sad.

Bradley Noneofyourbizz yes. Unfortunately for a lot, that's what takes priority- - money, not ethics. my former vet once told me when I brought my rescue pitbull in..(she was having issues with her skin, and trusts no one because of her abusive start of life) that she's too aggressive, and for that alone, euthanize her. this was before he got his big new fancy clinic.. Needless to say, hes not my vet anymore.

We LOVE Dr Jones , we support him because he is TELLING THE TRUTH and OBVIOUSLY he is GENUINELY concern about the health of our beloved pet , NATURAL is ALWAYS better than chemicals and guess what , MOST of DRs now PRESCRIBE MEDS THAN HEALTHY NATURAL FOOD ! People in Spain HAVE LONG LIFE SPAN BECAUSE THEY PREFER NATURAL than chemicals , ex people in Spain prefer to eat home style cooked foods THAN fast food. You can see the fast food is almost empty while restaurants are full, also may not love hamburgers BUT if you let them choose between hamburger from fast food or home made patty they will DEFINITELY choose the home style than fast food. If they have colds , they prefer to have some honey and inhale steam THAN taking meds. They eat a LOT of veggies and fruits a day THAN taking one tablet of Vitamins. So YES obviously Dr. Jones for me is the right one. Google about the late Dentist who lost his license when he opposed the use of amalgam. Guess what , Amalgam is now BANNED is most European countries ! Sad that he didnt had the apology he deserves.

I have heard issues so similar with holistic medical practictioners... the medical system is being challenge, and can't seem to hurt anyone unless they HIT you in the money bag. This is disgusting! And I'm sorry that you are dealing with these institutions! I am researching holistic Vets in New Jersey...because I have gone to three vets in this area, and am not particularly keen on all the meds they are giving...I mean, to say...it's more about Medicines - not nutrition. Ie, my dog had ear allergies...never once was it mentioned that my dog could be eating the wrong thing. (yeast) I would have changed their diet in a heart beat. It took my research to find the best way to approach nutrition with my dogs...and well...maybe I'm wrong about this....but, isn't it funny that so many pets are suffering with disease that humans are dealing with too? And so many people also have disease related to Bad Diets? Does anyone else see the connections here?

Exactly. It's a lot about processed foods and chemicals in our foods. If the industries do this to humans, how can we think that the industries will do better for animals?

+Juliana Leo -- Both the (human) medical schools and the vet schools are obviously funded by the same sources. Medical schools have been funded by the pharmaceutical companies for at least several decades, so their "science" education is based on healing via chemical means (pharmaceutical chemicals). And, it seems that vet schools teach the same perspective. Money is made from illness, not wellness and the people who own and profit from these companies do it for money. Initially, the chemical (medication) may mask or treat the symptoms (not the cause) but the side effects will cause other problems (along with not treating the cause) that will keep us ill and continuing to support their bank account.

juliana, a Rhodesian Ridgeback was dumped on my rural country road.......very ill.....infections.....staph, fungal....horrific.......figured out he had yeast ......after trial & error , he is grain free, has plain yogurt daily, ACV dilute for ears, all natural ...... NO steroids, NO antibiotics......he's been with me almost 3 years.....i brought him in the middle of the night on a stormy night..... i heard him crying out in the pasture, to give him a warm, safe place to die.....he was so critical i thought he would die in the night......he is good now......healthy.....

I have followed you for some time and commend you for looking out for the animals like you swore to do when embarking on your healing journey. I have been living a nightmare dealing with one of my elderly dogs just here of late and have been wanting to beat my head on the wall from the lack of competence and their inability to think out of the box. After questioning them on treatments they roll their eyes not believing I will not bow down to them. I was amazed at the questions that they did not ask me about my dog which I felt were critical questions. I also changed some of the things they were prescribing when I found they were actually worsening my dog’s condition and now she is on a healing journey . This isn’t my first rodeo and after losing so many dogs to cancer at early ages after having done everything the vets recommended is when I started researching and changing my habits of care with the animals. All my animals since then have not died from cancer. My old girl now has been diagnosed with diabetes which I have never experienced so am ignorant. I didn’t know the signs. After my own research I have tweaked her diet even more and I was ecstatic yesterday when her numbers were almost in the normal zone. Not by anything that the vets would have had me do. They would have wanted me to put her on some processed kibble by Hill’s or another. Brand which I am sure would have kept her sicker. I am an Equine and Canine Bodyworker, etc and use Red Light and Bemer on the animals for support (politically correct) and it is great to see them feeling so much better quicker then anticipated. I truly appreciate your dedication to the health and well-being of our wonderful friends. Thank you.

Clyde Ward His way of practicing isnt necessarily maligned from that. You obviously have a strong opinion against him however that doesnt seem to be what the opinion the masses share. He hasnt doesnt anything harmful/detrimental to an animal, he just wants to essentially (in my opinion) treat the WHOLE animal vs just throwing meds & surgery at his patients.I hope he comes to the US, most vets dont even know what supplements/vitamins do or help nor other ways of treating animals.

Clyde: Fortunately there are more of this "crazy" kind in the US and elsewhere who advocate other approaches. The "evidence" indeed shows results of the effectiveness of drug therapy in various patient groups, but what causes the disease itself is not shown or even examined by them.
