When I lived on the farm with my Dad when I was younger, as punishment, he would make us clean the packed up layers by hand with a pitchfork. Some areas couldn't be reached with a tractor bucket/excavator. So we still had to pitchfork it out. Well it didn't kill us and we turned out to be hard working responsible adults . Another fantastic video E, look forward to the next one!!!

You probably don't need to get a new starter it's most likely the solinide that needs replacing and that's a fairly easy job

When you get the battery and starter fixed, you should also get a battery tender. It will help your battery last much longer in the cold climate. And have a full power crank each time. A battery tender is inexpensive. And perhaps an engine block heater. It takes more battery power to crank the engine with cold viscous oil.

Thank you, Chris! I do have the engine heater, and use it this time of year.

Eg trur du bør bytte startmotoren. Og nå på november er det agroteknikk, Norges største landbruk messe, der er det mange bønder og siden du er nye bonde så kun du få noen råd. Men det spør om du har tid.

You need to use pig boards and a stick, makes moving them far easier. Also you should get a muck grab to use instead of bucket, faster easier better

Hi I have the same issue with the dung in the barn after each winter, the issue is the lack of air between the layers, don't worry now that you have ot out and mixed up it will break down super quick 😀 keep up the great work 👍
