Why does everyone love greece? I was born in Brazil, but every time I hear about Greece, I feel my heart beat faster. Is it because it is the birthplace of our Western civilization? Is it the sensation that Socrates, Aristotle, Leonidas once walked on this land? is it its blue sky and its crystal waters? I think it is the beauty of simplicity, so as to degrade the material in order to elevate the spirit. I don't know why, but deep inside I feel Greek. Thank you for the wonderful video and may God bless you

We have amazing beaches like Lixadonisia known as the greek Seychelles with crestal blue waters , the famous beach of Xiliadou that voted best filming location in Europe for 2023 and many more. Also in the spa town of Loutra Aidipsou you can find some of the oldest hot springs in Europe that still exist (they were used by the roman emperors) and they are both relaxing and medicinal . Evia is close to Athens and a budget friendly destination .

If you like bureaucracy and a chaotic unorganized corrupted state then you are more than welcome to come. Things here are not Ideal. Also this scenery is about to last for 3-4 months. The rest of the year everything is closed. It can get rainy and cold (of course not like Canada, but we aren't Maldives). Also the services aren't in perfect shape in islands. If you need a special medical treatment it's possible that you will be transferred to the mainland. Also keep in mind that summer is hot. The temperature easily approaches 40°C/104°F. Unfortunately it is not paradise. The best options for island lifestyle in Greece are Crete, Rhodes, Corfu.

yeah don't listen to the other guy.. it's worth it to come here.. A lot of people from overseas live here or have a place during the summer. Congratulations guys! A great video once again! As for the Byzantines, they were Greeks. They didn't invade any Greek island. By saying Byzantines you mean the Greeks from 330 AD to 1453 AD. The language you see on the paintings in Byzantine churches is Greek, including the churches you saw in Turkey (for example Hagia Sophia) and other places that were part of the Byzantine Empire. The official name of the Byzantine Empire was Eastern Roman Empire. Its official language was Greek and its capital city was Constantinople (conquered by the Ottoman Turks in 1453 and renamed Istanbul).

Byzantines were Greeks therefore not occupiers. Greeks have been in the area over 4,000 years. The Greeks who resided in Western and Northern Turkey, where one can see all the Ancient Greek cities were called “Ionians” or “Ion” by consequence Arabs and Turks call Greeks Yunan and Greece Yunanistan. The continuous spoken language in the eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium) was Greek which was the most widely spoken language in the world till 1200AD (hence bible was written in Greek) The Byzantine empire was named after the Greek colony of Byzantium where Constantinople was founded on. The city of Byzantium was founded around 700 BC by Greek settlers from the city of Megara directly west of Athens.

Odd question. You guys are in the sun so much. What sunscreen do you use?

Usually whatever we can get our hands on but we always use SPF 50 now. A lot of the time we get Nivea, a popular brand that is in almost all the countries that we visit
