great video! I'm visiting in Mid April and would love to do a day trip to Ko Lanta from Krabi. Can we just explore the place by renting a bike by ourselves or would you recommend m we take a tour?

HI guys I love your channel. My boyfriend and I are going to be moving to phuket in May. We were wondering about registering a drone so we can fly it while we are in Phuket. Do you have any tips on how to do so or if its necessary. Hope all Is well!!

Hi! Yes, there are two organization you have to register your drone with. The nbtc and caat. I think you can start the process once you’re in the country. Hope this helps!

Nikki i'm very impressed that you notice southern Thailand are basically Malay//Muslim.. that's because Malaysia is a recent creation.. long ago there were dozen of Malay states and they were all vassal of the Siamese monarch.. toward the end of the 19th century many Malay states or sultanate that became Malaysia today had sought British protection.. the Malay state under British protection or protectorate eventually became British colonies.. when the British empire ends all the former British protectorate form a union and it became Malaysia.. this was only a dozen decades ago in 1957 that's when Malaysia was born.. the two Malay state that Songkhla and patani did not joined Malaysia and is now part of Thai territory.. i'm sure you are aware some of those Malay's now living in Thailand are not very happy with the outcome hence the violent insurgency of recent years.. well that's just a quick run down in a nut shell.. i hope you don't mind me ranting.. but very few vlogger even bother to mentioned this.. you will also notice the architecture of Phuket town are almost identical to Penang.. i hope you visit Penang in Malaysia in your next adventure.. its only a quick boat ride from Satun not too far from where you are now.. i bet you've already booked..

In ancient times the whole are of south Thailand upto Nakhon Si Thammarat ( Sri Dammaraja )were Malay under the Sri Vijaya empire of Jambi./Palembang and later under the Javanese Majapahit. It is not called the Malay Peninsula for nothing . The Thai were originally mercenaries for the Khemr Empire who later establshed principalities after they came from South China and by 1238 started to form their first Sukothai Kingdom followed by the Ayuthaiya Empire . Thais are a very recent addition to the long history of SEA .
