3:00 You see those yellow dots on the paper? That's the unique ID of the laser printer it was printed on. Agencies use it to match possible evidence with devices, like in the last century the unique misalignments on a typewriter would link a typed paper to a certain device and person. Just random trivia.

I seem to recall posting a comment at the 30th Street space was going to be a construction nightmare with respect to cost when you first looked at it. You may not realize it, but they're little signs that an experianced contractor can see, even on video. And yeah, you probably got some inflated pricing, but only because no contractor really wants to deal with an abused building unless they're being "generously" compensated. Keep in mind that the build-out crew is going to have to deal with the owners of the building as well as the tenants. And such a building, that shows years and years of owner mismanagement, does not bode well for that relationship for the contractor. In any event, you have definitely made the right call. Hearing that you bailed on that building put a smile on my face, I think I'm happier for you on that count that I am for the million subscribers. Congratulations on both counts.

I think at the end of the day, separate from your frustrations with them, the 30th street people were not going to give you numbers that worked. All said and done that has to be a deal breaker. It's really smart to video everything and release it after the lease is signed. Good leveraging of both entertainment value and negotiation protection. I hope Alan is part of the deal, he's like having a great drone feed of a battle, he can show you the things you can't see when you're in the fight. @@Mr371312 I don't think you understand--it's not about greed, it's about stupidity. They only think they can make money on selling ads, and they think the only people they need to take care of and help make money are people who help them sell ads. They end up ruining the market for professional content creators by commoditizing them so they can flood the market, and then they just figure a bunch of amateurs will come in working for free and allow them to crowdsource enough content to keep the searches and ad sales coming--when they could have created an ecosystem of content creators that not only represent their brand and expand their reach and trust, but they could have actually made more money selling better quality content and increasing their ad revenue at the same time. But Google isn't organized for anything but selling ads! They really aren't organized at all--and they're not ran by people who understand business--they got really lucky that they came in with a great search engine and a great way to monetize it at the right time and now that they're rich, they and a bunch of other people think they're gods when their business is more like a bunch of competing feudal lords with no king to unite them. Google doesn't care how efficient the empire runs or if they make as much money as possible so long as that ad revenue keeps coming in. There's barely any strategy across the entire company. If they had any genuine competition, they'd actually have to make smart decisions, but since they're on the gravy train sipping the fanciest bourbon with Monopoly guy, they don't have to.

I believe the phenomenon you are attempting to describe with respect to the solder balls is surface tension. The surface tension of solder is much greater than the surface tension of regular old dirt. Thus, when heated the higher surface tension of the molecules of solder attract to one another, whereas the dirt is pushed out by its relatively mediocre surface tension. Science is awesome!

Also, if a project is happening with resistants, things just are not coming together smoothly, then it may be time to evaluate what you are doing to see if it is the right thing to do or back out of it.
