here are two more that I encounter often: - when something doesn't work and/or there are errors on the screen, you will be blamed first 99% of the time, even though it's likely a backend issue - being asked to perform API requests when the user closes the tab, exits browser, their power runs out, they die etc., and then wondering why the database has corrupted data, simply because the backend is too lazy to implement ping-pong via sockets; I don't think I've worked on a project where the go-to solution to "XY has to happen when the users leave the website" wasn't "do it on the frontend"

I've agree with you and wanted to add that in my experience dev burnout is connected with personality of dev more. If dev have a strong borders he wouldn't accept tight deadlines and toxic managing behaviour

that's the key, knowing how to communicate and enforce boundaries, which is something many developers struggle with

glad that worked for you in the end, is a great alternative, some devs will go for it, others will have to find a way to manage the situation without switching, that's what this video was trying to help with

it's solution, but you need keep listening what you feel, because burnout would come to you again if you wouldn't fix the root cause
