You are right; we only have one life and need to live it well with joy. When I was purging, it felt so good that I never grieved the items. If I died today, those items would not be mine so it is well that they go while I am alive and can choose to let them go. Never will I ever collect an abundance of things. I do still have storage at a friend's house. These items are my canners and canning jars. Maybe I will one day have a place to settle a few months and can up my own food. Other than that, I have no sentimental attachments to material things. Enjoy the road!

Don't apologize for it being a long video, I've loved every minute of it! I totally resonate with everything you said. I haven't really "felt at home", since my divorce in 2001. People ask me why I'm constantly moving houses(usually stay someplace for about 2-2.5 years,,,just how it's worked out);)I never really had a reason for it. And I loved what you said about it not being "sensible", but that life is too short not to travel and see the things and experience life while you're here. My family doesn't get me, haha! I'm an empty nester as well and my kids are now in North Dakota and Wyoming(I'm in Indiana). I feel like I need to stay here to help with my elderly parents, as my siblings both live out of state as well, but I also feel like I shouldn't stay here just for them when I know I'd really enjoy traveling. I feel so torn, but your videos help me to see what I probably should be working towards! Thanks Jersey:)

I have, but work is another issue I’ve been struggling with. I’ll be 55 next month and still need to work. I have a pretty physical job, but have problems with fibromyalgia and arthritis making it more difficult to continue doing what I do. I’m on their schedule too, so limited time to travel places, ughhh. Love to just give my notice and get out of dodge for a while but also have my lease till July😆. Plan is to move back in with parents in July, save $ and get away when I can,,, until then, I’ll learn from you and other gypsies who are actually doing it! Keep those wonderful videos coming, they’re helping more than you know ❤️
