I've had my Toyo AT3 for about 500 miles and I am truly astounded how great they are for how aggressive they are. Quiet, with just the slightest humm at highway speeds. Very stable on the highway and excellent in wet weather. Looks killer also. I did a ton of homework, like watching your channel, and I was lucky to go with these and have them available in my part of the country. I'm running a P285/70/17 on a Tundra. You need these tires!

I've had these tires for almost 2 years and they do well in snow ice mud and sand. My biggest problem is rain. These tires hydroplane easily above 50mph in pooled rain when driving on i5. If you live somewhere that gets lots of rain or they don't take care of the roads even with light rain you will have this issue. Probably gonna get something different next year.

I have a 2021 Sierra AT4 with the same GY Fortitudes. While I like the ride quality and quietness I'm not sure how GM considers these AT tires when HT in is their name. lol Anyway, I'm contemplating switching to these Conti's as they seem to fit the bill nicely, however I also wouldn't mind something a little more aggressive looking assuming it doesn't affect ride quality noise? This truck is mostly highway driven for long family trips but we do have the occasional gravel/dirt/grass/fireroad to contend with. I'd def like to hear more about the Toyo from you as that seems like it might fit my needs/wants better. Any other tires I might consider?

So after doing all my research on Forums, Tire Rack, Discount Tire it seems like the reviews are saying that the H/T model is more noisey than the actual A/T!? If this is true that is badass and I am deff getting a set. I don't actually need more than an H/T but I prefer the looks of the A/T so I would rather have the A/T if it's indeed more queit.

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew cab Z71, currently have the factory Fortitude HT's on it. After seeing this video, I was going to go with these as well. I don't need snow capability, as I have blizzacks on another wheels, I use in winter. Do you think I should go with these, or go with the "HT" version? My main priority is a quiet ride. Are these quieter than the Fortutudes?, Would the "HT" be much quieter than these? (I really like the look of these over the HT). Thanks in advance. I love this channel! you do a great job!

Is there much sacrifice as far as MPG’s or highway handling between these and the HT’s? Seems like the HT’s May be able to handle about the same off road wise.

Hi Matt - I’m enjoying the videos. I’ve got the Conti Terrain Contact AtlT’s on my half-ton and was wondering how smooth I should expect them to be at 70+. I’ve had them road force balanced recently and still get some vibration above 70 mph. Maybe that’s normal for these tires or maybe I should look elsewhere in the drivetrain?

Good choice. I think the Cooper AT3 4S would have been a great choice for what you're doing as well. Personal update: My General AT/X' s are doing great but man, they become absolute slicks in the mud. That deep tread depth packs the mud in and it takes a lot for it to come out. I can see now why something like a Duratrac is so popular for a year-round tire. Good snow traction and the gaps are a little bit bigger which allow them to dig a bit more. Other than that, I'm extremely pleased with the Generals.

Another thing to note is that most if not all 285/65r18 are in LT rating and will be significantly more expensive than 275/65r18 which can be found on most suvs and light trucks. Id stick with the 275s in a P rating. Get the LT version if your vehicle is heavier or you tow consistently. Im getting these in 275/65r18 for my tundra once my LTX at2 wear out.
