I used to lend my tools out to every friend whoever asked me for a helping hand.
I must have lend my tools out thousands of times already and I haven't quite learned my lesson until more recently.
this is one of the situations where I was genuinely upset when I got one of my tools back, a very expensive tool by the way that I bought brand new and took very good care of.
I lend my left out to a friend of mine who is a contractor and couldn't afford to buy his own to finish the job.
this thing went out looking almost brand new, and I got it back the way you see in the video, cables Rusty and twisted, wheels broken, all the safety pins were gone, the paint was chipped all over the place look like it had been through a rock storm and had fallen off of a truck.
I was very upset to see my lift that I worked very hard to purchase come back in such terrible condition.
figured I would publish this video to give everyone an example on why they need to think twice or even three times before lending their tools out.
I guess this is what they mean when they say "Good deeds don't go unpunished".. what a fail and a life lesson for me.
