I'm a non-Muslim who once fasted every day of Ramadan -- only out of curiosity to see what it was like, not from any belief in religion. Going without water was the really hard part, although mainly in the last three hours or so before sunset. I had to keep my mind off water and the much-too-slowly-moving clock, and the best way to do that was to curl up and sleep or rest while listening to music. He's right that the fast encourages laziness. It didn't make me feel "spiritual" in any way. Every day i would break the fast by first drinking glass after glass of water and then i'd eat too much because someone was giving me all the free food I could eat. It was just a personal endurance test.

Muslims in non-Muslim countries might have it a bit easier especially if they live alone or their family isn't that too strict. When I was in college I had a Muslim friend. We used to workout together and after that eat. Now at one point Ramadan came, so after workout we would eat as usual. So we asked him, "It's Ramadan. Aren't you fasting?" He just replied, "Who cares? I eat because I'm hungry." lol

Im in the middle of finals season and thanfully im doing alright. I watched your whole video (thank you for being professional) and u made some points i agree with. It's funny how some Muslim scholars have to use a hadith prophecizing that when the Dajjal would arrive. The a day would last a year, and the following day would last a few months, and so on. And that by Dajjals arrival, people should still pray five times a day by estimating the hours rather than seeing where the sun is from themselves. To explain prayer and fasting in the polar regions. Wouldn't it have been good if a hadith had circulated from Bukhari, Muslim or even Al-Hakim with a hadith such as the following below? 'Abu Hurairah has reported that Gods Messenger has said 'Some of you among my Ummah will reach lands where the sun does not rise for so and so months. Whichever observes fast in these lands, estimate it from the time you are awaken'. Anas Bin Malik has narrated it as "where the sun doesnt set". (Sahih McDonalds 420c)'

I think you've given up and prefer to worship your own lusts/desires/preferences/limited intellect. Ramadan is a way to feel what the millions of very poor are feeling so you can think more about 1-helping them 2- and appreciating everything you have. Also, Ramadan is NOT about fasting physically only. Part of the fasting is to fast away from foul statements and criminal behaviour and bad manners. Porn is a massive addiction for example, you can't do that at all whilst fasting and even when not fasting from Sunset to Dawn, a person will be too ashamed of watching porn as they were fasting during the day and maybe even praying in the night. Many people have quit all sorts of addictions like smoking and drinking and drugs through Ramadan. Is that bad? So they get even more reward as they not only fasted but quit addictions forever. Just some of the purposes of Ramadan. You got issues. As I said, I haven't got time to deal with you. This was only a very tiny reply to this video after listening to 2 mins of it. Think what I'm gonna do next year. Think about how your gonna answer in the dark grave all alone which can happen anytime, you could walk outside and a car crashes into you or anything. Think before its too late. Be smart and humble and a bit respectful to yourself. Have mercy on yourself.

Aren't you people worshipping your own lusts? Afterall, your religion claims you'll get to have all the sex you want in Heaven for eternity. Damn, I'd love to have that, but I know that such a thing isn't possible, as it was revealed in my faith that in Heaven, there is no sex. The fact that Heaven in my faith isn't just getting whatever I want for eternity, shows that my faith isn't just wishful thinking, but a faith based on evidence given from God that my beliefs are the actual truth!

You drink lots water, and a nutritious meal before ur fast and after. U sleep well. If u do all this, u will have a productive day. Full societies function normally while fasting. And ur not meant to stuff yourself and be debilitated after. If u choose to do that, thats a personal choice, its not a religious teaching. 😒
