Respect Joe! I’m a full-time real estate agent for 8 years now. It changed my life. Im also a dj and really had to reflect and make the same decision in prioritizing where the juice was most worth the squeeze, and put everything into real estate. Over time I was able to pay off my home and actually what I’ve called, bought my time back. It’s allowed me the freedom to start skating again, and that’s where I found you Joe. At almost 40 I’ve started skating for first time in 20 years…but that’s because I made the decision that was best for me and my family like you did here. Much respect brother! Huge respect for what you've done, your mindset, your attitude! Got back into skating 5 years ago after 7 years break at 25 after finishing uni, and I would have never thought how much more you get out of skating when you use your brain and really study it, like you have shown us. For example, I've always struggled so much with back 50-50s but your methods turned them to my go-to grinds and last summer I landed my first kickflip bs 5-0. Never would have thought I'd be able to actually pull off something like that. I've learned so much just by thinking and visualizing the tricks, and that has become my favourite falling asleep activity :D You've been such an inspiration and catalyst for this kind of mindset. Big thank you sir

Just wanted to give props. I went the written route writing skate and snow product reviews, and Google gives and then takes in its algorithm over there, too. I feel what you're saying in that the moment we shit focus to "how can we help," is probably the right frequency to just connect with people in general. So, here's to you and your next chapter whatever that might look like. If anything, you have the chops to build an audience online. It's that same skill set to reach perspective home buyers. So maybe start a second channel centering around your local real estate market. Your only competition are massive sites that all pull from the same database. It would probably be refreshing for buyers to see you show a home in video form.

Respect for facing the tough questions head on. A nice idea to compliment the direction you are thinking would be a beginner/client oriented real estate youtube channel. You have a nac for titles and thumbnails and as you learn more about real estate you could capture attention and funnel in new clients into your family business. Channels like legal eagle are a great example of this producing good content, building trust and showcasing your personal business. I know you could successfully do this and you could make some real big “youtube dollars” with this type of integration without the biggest audience. Anyway i wish you all the best 🙏

You were still making videos in parking lots with your box and rail. So to see the channel grow to 40k+ and see you getting product and shout outs from pros was pretty cool. That led me to believe things were going pretty good, but this video makes a lot of sense and it’s an eye opener for anyone with a similar dream with skateboarding. Myself included. I’m 38 and have all the same responsibilities, all I can think to say is hold on to skateboarding as long as you can. I just had a daughter in October and there have been times where I've allowed KZitem to pull me away from my home responsibilities. I always say KZitem (and social media in general) is like a drug except everyone is constantly encouraging you to keep going rather than to stop. I think that makes it the hardest addiction to kick. You should reach out to Dan corrigan n hit him up for some advice on how he works it. He's seems to have figured out a format that's working

Hey man, nobody blames you for wanting money. KZitem is fun, but grinding for 3 years is a quite a while. Anyway, good luck to you bro. I appreciate you being genuine

You have the most 'relateable' sk8 content on KZitem n it's for this that people are fans of ya channel. Have you thought of changing ya format n just doin it for fun with less editing n less frequent? With less emphasis on it being your income?

Great move true homie ;-) The occasional video will be a banger for sure, if you decide to go that route. Enough material to study in your existing videos for me, for sure.
