Let me know your thoughts on working at Amazon or at any tech company! Also, I talk a little slow, so I found watching at 1.25X or 1.5X makes the video better :)

The best part at Amazon amsure you gain lots of experience. But what more important is to have a balance life between family and work. So wise decision.

hi there my friend! Thank you for letting us know about the current situation of your life! I personally have no connection with amazon or any other tech stuff, but somehow i like watching your videos. Actually i am a hairdresser...The contrast of the images change on your video, nature to urban area, really made me realize how the enviroment influences our mood.i have no oppinion about the decision you took to leave your job,you know much better than me the circumstances,I just wish you to find what you re looking for to be happy in the future! By the way speaking slowly helps me better to understand you, since English is not my native language!

I have been a big fan of your videos for a while now, you always give the pros and cons of each topic you are covering, I love that. I learned a lot from this video, I have never had a job this stressful with long days and weekend work, wow! Keep making your videos Chris, you have a fun and honest personality. Your fans will always enjoy watching and learning. Cheers!

Good decision. Work life balance is important. We only have 1 life and we shouldn't be working 90% of it.

Thanks! After moving companies, it feels strange having time for hobbies or just rest in general on a workday

Oh wow! Lots of work but I’m sure it was good experience. I’d encourage you to apply. Amazon is a lot of work, but at the end of the day, it’s one of the best learning opportunities!

Currently working at Amazon as a software engineer in Amazon Connect, the call center app. I've been pulling off 60 - 70 work weeks every week and I'm ready for a change. And I'm also not getting interesting projects anymore. This video is encouraging and am going to draw the line with management and start leet coding and interviewing again and get the hell out of here.

I wish we can conect more of this things that you are discussing. I would like to know how the Annual Performance review is being conducted and meeting those data points to look good.

That makes sense. When a person reaches a certain amount of pay, they start seeking other things in life.

LOL "You don't need a MBA, working at Amazon IS the MBA !" That tell me everything, the ethics of a bean counter, cut the corner as long as it improve the bottom lines ... etc. We can make you work 70 hrs/week without paying you any extra ? GREAT ! It's now your schedule ! working for banker is NOT my goal in computing!
