I've said it before and I'll say it again: Give a man a studio apartment, internet, and some Ramen noodles, he'll figure out a way to be happy. Give a modern woman a mansion, and everything she asks for, she'll figure out a way to be miserable.

I can never forget that scene in A Beautiful Mind. Alicia Nash went through so so much to be Mrs. Nash, dealt with John‘s Schizophrenia for years. He even physically attacked her during one episode which I considered reason enough to leave him at the time. But she knew what kind of a man that she married and she stood by him through all of the frustration and pain as she vowed to. They grew old together, and he got better. I bawled in the end when he won the Nobel Prize and he thanked her for supporting him through every thing. That’s what marriage is, no one can tell me that it’s just a piece of paper.

Instead of letting these things produce fear, I strived for better and stayed positive as I wanted to be a wife and mother (in that order). I am married with 3 kids born in wedlock and I will do whatever it takes to instill positive family values in my children and I’m happy I have a husband who values the same. There’s all these ridiculous women’s stories and books with some perfect ten guy with 6 pack abs, tons of money, dangerous, who loves some woman like a telenovela. All that passionate kisses and declarions of love. That isn’t reality. Maybe she thinks it is. I’m certain she could have trained the good man she had to know what she likes in the bedroom. He probably would have loved it if she told him what she wants And would have happily participated, unless it’s something extremely weird. What guy doesn’t want a woman to tell him she wants to be adventurous in the bedroom? See the issue is that women like her expect men to just know!

I went to school, did not have any kids out of wedlock, met a woman spent 5 years with her married her had a kid when we where "ready" and she decided she was not happy and said it was my fault. I explained to her that I can not provide her happiness and that it comes from within. She swore that her happiness is my job and left. I found a white woman who loves the SHIT out of me (cook's, cleans is a GREAT monther and has a job) I'm blessed enough to make over 150K a year with an Engineering firm and thought I was doing everything right only to be left by my so called queen..... she is now a sigle mother who has our sone 50% of the time and tells me she thought we would get back together HAHAHAHAHAH yeah you hold this L and I'll see you later!

I think this is the main thing women need to hear. A lot of women are not happy with themselves so they think a man will make them happy.. and he may for a while but then she’s unhappy and she thinks marriage will make her happy .. and it does for a while but then she feels unhappy again and she thinks a baby will make her happy… and it will for a while and then she blames her unhappiness on the man, the marriage, the kids and leaves thinking being single again will make her happy (probably because she sees all her single friends living their “best” life and feels like she’s missing out on something)…. And it doesn’t.. I told a girl this before who was like this. You ask God for stuff thinking it will make you happy and you get it and still complain and sabotage it…. You will NEVER be happy because you will never be able to out run YOURSELF… you have work to do sis ! Congrats on your new wife and life 🥰

I paid 90% of her college. She was also a stay at home wife and didn’t have to work. After the divorce, she married another guy who gave her a 4 bedroom house and everyone around her, especially women congratulate her for upgrading. Nobody shames her that she broke the covenant… she still goes to the same church we were at. I thought marrying an independent woman was fun but nobody counseled me the difference between a wife and a mercenary. My second marriage covenant/wife was #1 on my list. She left him for sex. Dude made more money than her, was obviously attractive enough to hold her attention for a decade and her deal breaker was the sex? Something that can be improved upon through communication and practice? He had her time, attention and the resources to provide but she was still discontent because she thought she could do better. That's incredibly foolish, but many women would congratulate this behavior. Yet they complain " where are all the good men?".

Well the cute ones or ones with "assets" always have a belief that they can snag a great man who will take care of them at any time of their life. On the other hand A woman that society has deemed "ugly" or "undesirable" knows that if she she is fortunate to get a breadwinner willing to take care of her, she better not dump him for risk she will spend many years alone. What makes attractive women think they will always be in position to find a man who will take care of her is the attention they get from men at a young age. Attractive young females come across many good males at birth(daddy spoils her) then when she is in middle school the males there are coming after her hard. When so many males are throwing attention/validation and gifts to a woman without her having to do much but be pretty, it's easy to float into a mindset that their will always be at least one breadwinning man waiting to make her life easy. Truth is, As she ages, most breadwinning men her age have been tied to another woman who drained something from him(his money, his mind, his spirit) and he doesn't want to take on another woman like that. And an older woman is stubbornly set in her ways. Unfortunately it's a feminist mindset which is very unattractive to older men. Besides that, if he has kept his body presentable, a lot of younger women are open towards him. I personally have had no problem attracting women and at age 50, I have attractive older women orbit me or straight out shoot me their phone number ....but it's their mindset that prevents me from calling. The independent feminist mindset that women have been groomed by since they were little girls has "Hardened " women and is very unattractive.

Damn. Now it makes sense to me. You worded an ick of mine so well, Lili. I had once read a story about a woman who was 20-21 or so, and she found the perfect dude, even her spiteful to boyfriends parents liked this amazing boyfriend. He was everything to them. And she acknowledged she absolutely adored him, but she felt like she wanted to see the rest of the world. So she left him, on the premise of coming back later and finding a different man that could be there for her just as much as he would be. I never got an update on the situation My tummy feeling was that she was leaving an extraordinary man to chase an adventure. She gave up the best man possible and suitable in her life for an adventure. And since she was free to do so, she got on it and gave up the best husband material, even for her parents who never liked a single guy My feeling was... how can you do that? How can you leave your guy like that? You deserve better, man. But I felt selfish when I thought about that Now reading on your story, I'm like, of course! That's it! It's because things work for different people, and it'd probably explain why I'm not attracted to a certain style of women. I don't want to be controlling, I want to give them their freedom, but if they can't control their urges, then how do I know when they're going to flip flop on me? A boring lady who's only interested in getting the best for the family, asking about our days and the children's and man's wellbeing is someone I love to be around with. Ironically, I've found this in an African-American... US lady... while I'm from the Netherlands. It's insane how she was like, "This is my boyfriend, and I can be happy with him." She did not believe in the fairy tale. She was actually that person that you're describing to me. You deserve the best of the whole goddamn world and I'm happy your culture knows how to respect men. Amen!

Now this was a good conversation. I'm 30 and single. And I don't want to be. I never thought I'd be single at this age....but I grew up in one of those households where we were taught, get your degree, worry about boys later, stay away from men, etc. I was a very obedient kid, and never took the time to go through that "rebellious" stage of bucking the system or thinking what if. It hit me really hard around 3-4 years ago that wow.....I CAN want something different. I DO have control over my life and what I want for myself. I am NOT ashamed of wanting to be in a relationship and get married. Since then, I've been actively working towards positioning myself for marriage. It has lifted a different weight off of my shoulders and I see more clearly now than I ever have. I wish I'd had this awakening much sooner, but at least I'm being proactive now. Being married does not have to mean losing yourself to your family and your husband. It should actually ENRICH your life. But thats where you have to do the work to ensure it actually happens and not just leave things to chance. Ladies, BLACK ladies especially.....please please wake up. Before it's too late. For your sake, for our sake, for our COMMUNITY'S sake.

It's even dumber now because we're in the time of sexual knowledge and toys. Getting off is easy as hell now. If you have a partner that is serious and good for you, any lacking in intimacy can be fixed with communication and effort. Get toys, discover fetishes, practice foreplay. You have so much at your disposal to handle sexual desires, so why destroy something more important than just sex over that?
@CMM726
2 жыл бұрын
Often times women have unrealistic expectations when it comes to sex. Men and women’s bodies are different and often times the opposite sex doesn’t understand what their partner needs. Women need to tell their man what they want. I think it’s very rare that this couldn’t have been an easy fix! Also, something could be wrong. As women it’s our job to know when something is up with our man, investigate and fix it. Could he have low testosterone and low drive? That’s treatable. Psych meds can cause that. Can he have ED? Order the meds for him online. You don’t just throw the relationship away bc you think some passionate guy is out there waiting for you. You gotta make it passionate! She could have told him she wanted to spice things up! What guy wouldn’t want his wife to say they wanted to try something adventurous in the bedroom? I bet he would have been game to try all types of things until they found what worked for them as a couple. She’s just another person who thinks there’s better out there but doesn’t want to put the work in to get the desired outcome

The 16:20 mark is all men, black or white, need to know. Kevin: "Is the black community continuing more important than the black woman?" Woman: "No." This is gold, because it applies to women of every color if they were raised in America's feminized culture. Men, protect yourselves from these modern women. And protect your brothers if you see them getting themselves in trouble with these women. And if you're a man, every other man is your brother, regardless of his skin color. Honestly , Kevin triggers a lot of us Bc a lot of what he’s says is true. Kevin’s channel has helped me look at how ridiculous a lot of the ideologies that have been subconsciously implanted in us are . They are dumb. 😭😩 we’ve been sold a dream of success - money / continual happiness and not thinking about creating a family as if we can do it all on our own. We’ve been made to think the success is overnight. Women we make the decision based on a mans character (I’m not talking about settling for an abusive man or cheater) but base your decision off of his character- and stand by their side because what you pour into WILL GROW. It will take work and dedication but we got this and we can’t be ready to throw in the towel Bc you think the grass is greener in your neighbors yard. That’s Chasing an illusion. What I can ask of black men… I know your patience is wearing thin, but just have compassion for black women. Obviously our community has been through a lot .. there is hope Bc there are blk women who are doing internal work and are ready to look in the mirror.

It made me sick to my stomach. The babies were NOT being loved, nurtured & made to feel like they mattered. The young ladies there were there for a paycheck only. I was unaware of that fact and unfortunately I guess it kind of surprised me because a lot of African-American homes don’t have a father, but those that do, now that I think about it, the dads are always super involved and are usually fairly strict with kids, which I think is the way to go especially in this day and age and they’re involved in coaching and just about everything the kid does. Anyway now that I thought about it it actually makes perfect sense. I definitely think it’s a fact that you should try to bring up as much as possible, which I’m guessing you already do. Anyway love the show and I have learned a lot and I really do feel for black guys dealing with the situation with black women. It’s not the same at all, but being in Los Angeles you have all the west sideWomen that all seem to be cut from the same cloth … ..at about age 40 they all leave their families because they want to “be happy”….. five years later all the guys have moved on and we have nice girlfriends who appreciate us and the wives generally have not found anybody willing to put up with their nonsense as most of us were when we had kids involved and we’re unwilling to leave our children. Women really do add the spice to life but sometimes it’s just maddening the choices they make. I have seen countless women walk away from really nice guys who make over six figures and how are putting their kids in private schools and have a nice house and a good life and all she has to do is take care of the kids the house and go to yoga and the nail salon. And yet they walk away. Because they’re not happy but what most women don’t understand is that happiness comes from within other people can’t make you happy which is one thing men need to learn you can’t make a woman happy. You can for a few minutes but long-term if she’s not a happy person, he was a man or doomed. I definitely think that your idea that none of us were promised perfect happiness,. None of us were promised perfect relationships. If you have a decent relationship and you’re fairly happy, consider yourself lucky in this world and be grateful for the things that you have. I want to share this quote by a guy who said if you wanna know the secret to happiness here it is first always be grateful for what you have instead of worrying about you need a new car just be happy you have a car …….if you don’t have a car…. Be happy you have money to take the bus. If you don’t have money to take the bus, be happy you have legs to walk on etc. The second part to always being happy is always do kind ask for other people. It makes you feel great about yourself and it really does come back to you to fold for reasons that only God can explain. I have tried these two very simple approaches in my life and when I have consistently remind myself every day of three things that I’m grateful for and try to do a couple nice things for somebody else my life goes perfectly….. and I’m always happy. It’s very simple and that’s why I actually think that sometimes people who don’t have a lot of money but have a tight family situation or actually happier than anybody because they figure out what really matters and they’re grateful for what they have they’re not worried about what they don’t have. Anyway love the show!

every time a woman says 'happy', substitute the word, 'excited'. all their choices make more sense, this way.

@@Saint-Christopher NO, not how you make her feel, how the situation makes her feel. Its the forbidden, the new that makes her feel so special.

@@rapsack7058 right. Stability, is key. She needs to be emotionally addicted. Cheating on her is OK. Even if you don't cheat, let her become aware of you having options. Her fear is her weakness.
