I was born a JW and finally left after 15 years, during my time I witnessed all forms of child abuse, physiological and mental abuse, shunned by my life long friends and family. Don't be afraid! You are not alone. I still love Jehovah and Jesus and I hope you do as well. Love for God has nothing to do with brainwashed clueless men who think they know when they do not. Keep your faith and love for people and realize they have been duped on some things. A lot of what Jehovahs Witnesses teach is true and there is a lot that is not. Most religions are like this unfortunately. Man is man and he is flawed. I was A JW from the age of 3 and got baptized at 15yrs old and I'm 48 and deeply scared. It Hurts to have a mother led by these men because she can't think for herself herself and even she has shunned me at times. Just keep going because we'll get our answers soon enough.

Satan loves being congratulated? Finally left after 15yrs? Galatians 5:7? Why? Because the world pulled you away from wholesome teachings and loving Brothers and Sisters? Where else is there truth to be found? I’m not even a JW but I can see what a catastrophic and treacherous road you’ve taken. At least now you know, eh? That Satan will provide you with the easy religion you’re obviously desiring? You can pretend all you like that you’re glad to be out of the JW’s …. But you’ll never find a safer place to be! Ever!

I was raised as JW in the 80s and 90s. I was disfellowshipped at 15 because I had questions about the "truth". The elders interrogated me at the hall, alone, for hours until I finally gave in and told them to just disfellowship me if they weren't going to answer my questions. So they did. It's taken me 25 years to finally be okay from all of the things that were swept under the rug as a kid. My love and support is with all of us here in the comments that survived that religious trauma.

Yes, I was told that I must have been doing something to get treated that way after all those years because he wasn’t softened up. I asked the elder whom I knew his wife was abused by her first husband so I asked: if she did something to be thrown down the stairs? He turned red and just sat there after he realized he judged me in the most terrible way. They wanted me to keep it quiet and reconcile. Too much to say here but I spoke up after years of abused almost immediately when they wanted to appoint him as an elder. They had no idea he was that way but for years refused to notice some meetings I’d just sit there with tears in my eyes. I must have been doing something right.

I was 15, unbaptized, yet forced to endure near total isolation. I lost all friends, had no one. It was a callous punishment for a child. The elder who read my letter of disassociation from the stage smirked and laughed at me after he walked off the stage and passed by me sitting in the back of the hall. Decades later, I'm still traumatized by the shunning. THE WITNESSES ARE A CULT, PERIOD. GET OUT AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

I was a bible study for 3 years of a JW (Philippines), I was constantly asked when am I gonna get baptized. I felt some pressure regarding that topic. I always say to my self, I don't want to do something because I was pressured to do it or someone decided it for me. So I never get baptized in a JW. After that I decided to leave, something inside me wants to leave. I was so scared to leave. It felt like when I leave the JW org, I'm gonna leave or reject God and so God would leave or reject me too. So I prayed, i poured my heart out to God before leaving. I visualized Jehovah holding my hand and I said if ever a time comes that I will rebel or let go of my hand away from Him I said "please don't let me go" wherever I go please don't ever let me go. Then I went on in life for years with no affiliation with any religion. Now, 17 years later I found the Truth. John 14:6 - Jesus said to him. I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:1 [1]“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. Believe in the Father "and" believe also in Jesus. Ephesians 2:8,9 [8]For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,[9]not of works, lest anyone should boast. 1 Corinthians 12:3 [3]Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. No religion can save you. We cannot save ourselves because of good works. Jesus is the only savior. Galatians 2:21 [21]I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Acts 4:12 [12]Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” John 16:13 [13]However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 14:26 [26]But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. I pray that whoever come across with your video will know Jesus and accept Him as his Lord and Savior in Jesus name. Amen.

God - another religious nutter - you DO realise it's ALL bullshit don't you? The Catholics, the Lutherans, the Anglicans, The Episcopalians, the Methodists, the Wesleyans, the Anabaptists, the Jehovah's Witnesses. They're ALL just variations on an ancient Middle Eastern set of myths and superstitions. You've latched on to the Christian god because you're Philippino. But if you were Afghan, you'd worship Allah. If you were Japanese, you'd follow Shinto. While if you were South Indian, your gods would include Shiva. And if you were a primitive tribesman in the darkest Amazon - or in the most remote parts of Burundi - you'd be into the spirits of the river, the trees, the sun - and fire. ALL religions are just Man's best effort to represent that "sixth sense" humans have - and of course to help mitigate the fear of death: of COURSE the sting of it is lessened if you think you're going to Paradise when your earthly stay is up. But you're not. You're not going to Hell, either - or Purgatory for that matter. You won't be reunited with your mum and dad - your friends - your lovers. In fact you won't see - or feel - or hear - or smell - or touch - or in any way be aware of ANYTHING whatsoever cos you'll be dead. That's it. Eternal darkness. Why d'ya need all that superstition? Use any anxiety you have got as motivation to make this life as good as possible - and for Christ's sake don't waste it praying!

I was a JW for over 20 years, a Pioneer for 8 years and worked at Bethel for 4. Although I believed in what was taught, In my heart deep down, I was torn between what was taught and the reality of what I had witnessed over the years regarding children... one Prdtor was a Circuit Overseer, who was caught, but never held accountable because the parents didnt want it to go further, so, instead of disfellowshipping, he was transferred to another State, still able to hold onto his position as a CO. I witnessed this sort of thing on 3 occasions with 3 different members. When I stood up and made some noise and asked questions, I was the one who was made to feel that I was in the wrong. I was put in front of the Committee and repremanded. I no longer was allowed to work in Bethel, or Pioneer, with the agreement not to be disfellowshipped. But I became a marked person. My family started to turn against me for bringing them shame, my brothers and brother inlaw were Elders. It's been over 20 years since I walked away from the JW Org, my family and my husband. The healing took years due to the mental and emotional guilt I felt, but with the support of ones like yourself, I'm living my life guilt free and I've been working with Child Protection Services since 2014. Personally I realize that all of us are imperfect. But I haven’t found peace or happiness elsewhere. I do think that your heart condition is what Jesus will use to judge the righteous & the unrighteousness. A lot of JW’s will be surprised to see who will make it into the new system. That is one teaching that I have never challenged. I hope you are have found peace & happiness with your research. I also appreciate that you don’t find fault with the brothers you knew well.

I have a friend who is a Jehovah witness and I am a Seventh Day Adventists and we just can't see eye to eye where truth is concerned. One time we talked about the disfellowship that went on in the church. I asked her for biblical proof and she sent me some scriptures and I prayed before studying them and not one of them have anything to do with disfellowshiping members this she agreed on but she continues to study with them. She also has a PHD in malice keeping so I'm now on the list.

Facebook was silencing anyone who said it came from the Wuhan lab, claiming it came from bats. Surprise surprise, 1 year later, the conspiracy theory comes out as conspiracy fact on the major news networks in the united states and Australia, because Fauci's emails got leaked. The term "Conspiracy Theory" was created by the CIA, to dissuade people who were too lazy to do their own research to find hidden truths, that will impact them at some point. Like CIA Operation Paperclip flying lots of Nazi war criminals and eugenicists to America, after getting their prison sentences "commuted", to have them start new Pharma corporations in the U.S. Or Margaret Sanger of "Planned Parenthood" infamy - also Eugenicist and mother of Bill Gates. This is proven stuff, but the mentally lazy will never now what hit them. Remember big Tobacco for decades claiming that smoking didn't damage your health? How many years and how many lawsuits did it take, before the public became aware and eventually the government slapped some stickers on cigarette packs. Funny, it was a Bethel trip that motivated me to finally get baptized late in my teens... and similar to you, I thought a Bethel trip would strengthen my faith when I started to have doubts 2 years ago. It did, but only temporarily. You're a braver man than I, coming out completely like this. I have so much to lose and need to bide my time, but I realize that my life could come crashing down if I were ordered to do something morally reprehensible such as assist in the medical martyrdom of a child. But the Splane rant leak is what's sending me over the edge and motivating me to comment, albeit anonymously. He is wrong on so many levels. Our search for real truth is what led us here, not a desire to escape responsibility or an excuse not to believe. This is not war, we are not enemies, and the revealing of genuine truth is not a ploy by evil spirits.

I was also in another sect with similar doctrines. My worries as a young woman used to be, how can I be sure that I have made it for heaven, because they were teaching us that when Christ returns is going to weigh the good versus sin, whichever is more than the other you go to hell or heaven. That one's good works qualifies you to heaven. Which was impossible. Finally I stumbled on some pamphlet which was teaching about salvation versus religion. Religion teaches one what to for God to make it to heaven while salvation is what God has done for man to make it to heaven. I came to understand that Jesus Christ died in my place and now I am forgiven. I need to accept that forgiveness to qualify for heaven. When I accept Jesus Christ, he gives me power to become a child of God. Since then I became free. I didn't care being excommunicated or isolated, the peace and the joy I received was more than I could care. I built new friends, new family and etc. I'm nolonger a slave to fear or sin, I am a child of God. Praise God.

Well spoken my friend. Another way to look at it would be to compare Religion to Spirituality. Religion is akin to bondage; we are bound by our vows to God. But Spirituality is the setting free of the Soul from worry, shame, and guilt, the very things that separate us from God. Whereas Religion only teaches us right from wrong, Spiritual Communion with God actually liberates us from the demands and expectations of Religion, as well as the temptations of materialism and self-gratification. I received a letter today from a Jehovah Witness, inviting me to a meeting. Before I threw it out, I felt led to pray for her and all others involved in this organization. I prayed that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction and lead them into all Truth. Later, as I was flipping through my KZitem videos, your video caught my eye. As I was listening to it, I felt as if the LORD was showing me that he is doing it. He is moving on the hearts of all who will listen. I prayed for your entire family, and friends. May they, too, come to know the Truth and be set free from the lies of Satan. May God through his Holy Spirit anoint your video and future videos and cause them to bear fruit for his Kingdom.

Imagine blaming a child for being molested? Someone who would do that would have no empathy and are basically human shaped black holes. To care more about the imagine of their religion than the safety of an innocent child. It goes against everything Jesus taught. God is not shamed by men's bad deeds. The only ones who are shamed are the evil doers doing the horrible acts. This story alone proves they are a false religion.

Just wanted to clear up a misconception in this comment. There are sections in the elder books (current and previous) and court records that show that the branch asks if the victim was a willing participant. The reason they do so is multi-fold. One of them being that if they feel the victim was a willing participant and meets their other specific criteria, they can be disfellowshipped. I don’t know the case of the commenter here, but yes a victim can be DFd if the elders/branch decide they meet the criteria and believe them to be a willing participant. I’d prefer that anyone avoid the temptation to gaslight anyone with any experience of CSA. Keep in mind that just because the elder book or letters say something, it in no way means that that direction was followed. We just don’t know.

I'm not Christian of any flavor, but what your god said to you is correct. A relationship with your god or gods should not be one of overbearing sacrifice, guilt/shame, etc on your part. When done correctly, it's a thing of joy, beauty, and strength that wraps you in a feeling of unshakable warmth, builds you up, and makes you shine from within. :) For any atheists who read this, this applies to you, too. Just swap the "relationship with god or gods" part out with "if you can make eye contact with yourself in a mirror and be alright with yourself".

What a GREAT well thought out video. I was also raised in the JW cult. The reason I had to go is because I’m gay. Being raised in a church that tells you you’ll die at armageddon for something you had no choice in is soul crushing. The rejection after being kicked out is inhumane. Ten years of no contact with my family or the only friends I was allowed to have. Their goal with disfellowshipping is to leave you with no options. Even if you run into your own mother in the grocery store, she’s supposed to turn and walk the other way. Unless it’s happened to you you have no idea how hurtful it is. As I mentioned witnesses aren’t allowed to have friends that aren’t Jehovah witnesses. That way if you do leave or get kicked out you have no one to turn to. They claim it’s out of love but it’s more about keeping the others in line. If you’re a witness you’ve seen the process of someone getting kicked out. The fear of losing everyone you know keeps so many trapped in the cult.

I was born and raised In Jehovah's Witness congregation. I got married by a humble brother within the congregation, he seemed loving, supportive and the most descent man for everyone including myself. We had 3 children. In 2012, I discovered that he was drugging the whole family excluding himself and raped myself and our biological first born daughter. I am cutting a long story short. The elders did not do anything about him even after several interviews with him, myself and the child repeatedly. We separated, he continued to serve as a Ministerial servant for months after our separation until I went to South African Branch bethel, I narrated the whole story to them. They also did not do anything about it, I approached the elders and requested he be removed from being a ministerial servant since his status of not living with his family was not setting a good example for the congregation. My faith started dwindling thereafter, I pushed myself until 2016, when I decided I was not going to continue to be a part of an organization that does nothing with perpertrators.

While living with a family who became my 'guardians' I was taken to the meetings at the Kingdom Hall. It really was not my choice. I started to question 'The Truth' when the world did not come to an end in 1975. As a teen, I wanted to think for myself and wasn't even sure if I believed in God. In order to pursue my own thoughts and beliefs, I left their care and moved out on my own. I was given the ultimatum in 1978 - that if I didn't return to the Kingdom Hall - that these people could no longer associate with me. I told them that I would be a hypocrite if I went back to the meetings - as it was not my belief. The call ended - "Well, I guess that's it ... " I lost those people who had taken care of me from the time I was 11 - 17 and all their extended families. It was a true sense of loss and abandonment. Last week I found another Ex-JW Bonnie Zieman who wrote 5 books - one called - Shunned: A Survival Guide. I just ordered it. I believe a person does need to debrief after leaving a high-control organization. I wish all those who were former JW's and those considering leaving - all the best on their healing journey. Peace.

Do you want to try to convince us that Earthlings don't exist? And incase you didn't know it all Nations around the World tell about a world wide flood. You ignore that your cult doesn’t allows parents to report kids that had been sexually abuse because it cause damages to the company name… “Watchtower”… You ignore that you have been working for free for a Multi millionaire company, who every year has a company meeting with the stockholders! You ignore that Christ only talked about love, and your GB only talks about hate, especially those who leave the cult! People that had waken up from the lies that your cult preach, and can’t stand been there listening to it! Your cult separates families, is that Christ love? Or you forgot that Christ said that we needed to love even our enemies? Because of the abuses hidden in Australia many people left, and many people still leaving, the Truth….. after the find out the truth about the truth! I know about corruption in the government and in many religions, including the Watchtower, who never tells with banks statements where are or where were used the donations! A so called religion that has been selling the Kingdom Halls and putting the money in their banks! A religion that hasn’t open their KH but still ask for maintenance donations, worldwide donations, etc etc, when people are making calls and sending letters, using their own money as the new field service. You ignore that your so called religion, has been paying millions of your donations 💰 money to pay sex abuse lawsuits, and many of those lawsuits had been fixed out of court! Right now New York, and others states are been seen in their courts many sex abuse lawsuits and many religious are involved including the Great Mother…. The Watchtower!!!! So keep giving them your money, they needed now and in the future, because believe me, the end is not coming yet, don’t believe what they has been saying since the eighteenth hundreds and changing every time the end doesn’t come!!!😂😂, now with Proverbs 4:18, they found an excuse to keep on changing the doctrine every time they needed! Because if you read the whole 18 chapter it doesn’t has to do with the light getting brighter and brighter!!! Obviously, because the members only listen and read the verses they says, never get to see the real meaning of the Bible verses and the GB uses them as they needed for the control over the members! If you really read the old books and old literature you will see all the lies and changes they had said and done!! Well, that is if you find the old books, because they had recollected almost all of them because whatever was written there now is something to laugh about it!!! Do some research, otherwise don’t get into the activist videos to leave some comments that just make everyone laughs! Look the meaning of CULT and compare it with the Watchtower! You’ll be surprised!

Thank you brother for your story, research and thoughts. I was also born into the third generation of Jehovah's Witnesses. I was baptized at 16 years old. But I was always terribly unhappy. A year ago I miraculously escaped - the torment of being in the organization was simply unbearable: constant fear that you are not doing enough for God, constant control over thoughts, a constant feeling of your own sinfulness, a ban on doubt, questions, the need to ignore the obvious truth, abandonment of the most cherished goals in life, ridiculous prohibitions, constant pretense, etc. I ended up with complex post-traumatic stress disorder. However, faith in God, which I developed myself because I realized how much I need Him, and not faith that is imposed under pain of excommunication, gives great strength. I wish everyone who suffers in the organization, with God’s help, to break free and boldly build a new life with Him.

Through my love, I hope the Holy Spirit can work in that person. Another thing to look out for is any organization that discourages reading anything but their material. There are wonderful resources on line today that clarify the actual Hebrew and Greek. Blessings to you!🥰. It is important to know God has all answers in His precious Word. My wife and I got married in 1983 as fine examples in the congregation after decades of faithful service a WT study article commented on brother's having a beard is ok so I grew a beard something I told my wife I would do in 1983 if the WT ever put it in writing. What do ya know I grew my beard and proceeded to lose all of my privileges in the congregation. I am not the type who will compromise my principles to maintain some extra position of responsibility! The elders and even Circuit Overseers had talked to me about shaving my beard off. My response has always been I can show you in Leviticus where it says a man should have a beard but in my nearly 40 years as a witness I have never read a scripture that says a man should be clean shaven. It was very clear to me that the C.O. wasn't happy with my stand and last year had a prominent elder give some convoluted talk about why brothers shouldn't have beards during a Zoom meeting, I looked right at the screen and mouthed that is a bunch of Bulls**t and never did another Zoom meeting. The next day I called an elder that my wife and I were close friends with and informed him that we will no longer be joining in on Zoom meeting's he asked why and I just said I didn't want to offend anyone because I choose to have a well groomed beard! Truthfully I had made my decision several years ago but I was waiting for my wife to weak up before making a clean break, I always supported her in attending the meetings and assemblies and did not talk negatively about the friends I waited until she was ready. We are doing just fine but unfortunately the friendships we had with people in our congregation and other Congregations I had the privilege of giving Public talks at have been severed not by our choice but theirs we understand they just haven't woken up yet when they do we will be there for them if they need us to be. As for the comment about Armageddon I used to tell people at the door that it is not man who decides who will survive that is up to Jehovah only he can read heart's I had used that type of response even when I was a regular Pioneer in the 1980's.

It is about the Truth, not about the strict rites. There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, where the Gates of Hell will not prevail, even if we get a disoriented Pope. God will not allow the Pope to alter his Word within the Roman Catholic Church. BTW: We are to follow the Pope in doctrine only and in nothing else. However, Catholic mystics with the stigmata have been told by Jesus, that God will allow the Vatican and the Pope to be destroyed due to heavy Masonic infiltration. However, God assures us that a pious Pope will take his place within a year. Just like God reprimanded King Solomon aka the Davidic line of Kings when he tried to alter God's Word, inorder to please his pagan Canaanite wife. When the Kingdom of Israel rejected King Solomon's' son, Rehoboam, while following the self appointed Pharisees, they fell into heresy. Just like the 130,000+ different Reformer sects and their chosen leaders are doing now. “We began to see that as non-Catholics, in good faith we had submitted our lives to Jesus Christ on our terms, not his. We had no other terms. Our Christian lives had been based on "our" interpretation of Scriptures or that of "other" persons whom we had chosen to follow.” - Fr. Ray Ryland Former Episcopalian Priest now Catholic. St. Ignatius of Antioch - the first century bishop, appointed by Kepha aka St Peter, at the Council of Jerusalem in 50 ad. "Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he (the Pope) ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church." (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 - 110 A.D.)

Jesus said that if you don't forgive, he will not forgive you for your sins to the Father. I know it is hard, but it will set you free from your emotional scars. In his frustration, he did not want you to jump off a cliff by leaving the Catholic faith and unfortunately, he resorted to vulgar tactics. Unlike the Jehovah Witnesses, Catholics do not shun, but love the sinner, not the sin of a loss in faith. The Evil One always attacks the family, which fosters the faith. Don't allow your grandpa's misguided actions to undermine you reverting back to the Catholic faith. Be ready for the Illumination of Conscience, an illuminated Cross will appear in a darkened sky (Matthew 24:29-31) and everyone will see the true state of their souls. Then, you will experience 15 minutes of your final destination, Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory, if you were to die at that moment. Jesus will give you approximately 6 weeks to be confessed and baptized into the Catholic faith, so that your Guardian angel can lead you to God's protected earthly refuges, just before the reign of the Anti Christ. (Revelation 12:6) BTW: The Woman represents the fulfilled Old and New Testaments aka the Catholic Church. The Bible always refers to the desert as a place of refuge.
