In this sample lesson (#89 of 100), we take all the chords, chord progressions, and circle of fifths movements taught prior and combine these concepts in a real song, "Never Would Have Made It," "Someone Asked A Question," and "Silver and Gold."
The point is not to learn these songs verbatim but to see our process of "notes creating scales, scales creating chords, chords creating progressions, and progressions creating songs" in action! In this lesson, you see how powerful the 2-5-1 chord progression is! It's usually used, back to back, in these song examples.
If you want to learn the inner workings of the language of gospel music, you'll definitely want to join our all new "The 100: Gospel Grammar System." It breaks down everything you need to know to understand gospel music, from the VERY beginning. Literally lesson 1 is on notes but over time, you eventually get to advanced concepts like this. It leaves no stone unturned.
Head over to hearandplay.com/100 to read about it and ultimately get on the waiting list to be notified as soon as it releases. You won't want to miss all the bonuses that are included on launch day!
