most of us didn't even though I grew up in nice family. I was experiencing neglect. the cold hungry stare of revenage. you know that affects on fathers persona. the violence I tolerated. It's strange how dead cold I had to observe these wrong patterns like I had no interests in defending my mother or family. yet cold stare on observation and learning that things were not well. the prone ability to be introvert taking in violent matters as child having to acknowledge he would have been over powered at the moment in the blink of an eye. the intelligence and situation does not add up at such a young age for options. however lately I learn the perspective of people that do not understand what is really seeing outwardly of an INFJ over the in sides of the real persona lately

As an ENTP, I really like my INFJ friends because INFJs are the ones that can handle the ENTP harsh way in discussing. I also find them still so logical and show me different perspectives that I respect. That's why I learn from them a lot. They also make me understand more about how to be a nicer human being. But my favorite is they know the meaning of their life, something I rarely find from others (just like what you've said).

The meaning of life isn't just one single answer because the individual asking the question isn't singular Ant: what is the meaning of life? Bee: what is the meaning of life? Alien: what is the meaning of life? Human: what is the meaning of life? The answer is simple n yet difficult for its easier to see ounce you understand it To an ant, the meaning of life, the meaning in its individual life, is to be of service to the queen and colony To the bee it's the same, to the human and alien it's the same n yet its different too, for the meaning of life is unique to you What gives your life meaning? What is it, that thing that makes you want to keep existing? To not stop, to keep going, what's the drive, what's the gas that propels your car down the road of your life? For this human it's to enjoy life, to be happy What is your answer

Ethics and Logic are a duality that exists in every person...while some are more logical and less feelings based in their rationalizations, some are the opposite. For INFJs (i don’t like using mbti dichotomies for this reason) they are both ethical in a sense of what others are feeling and what they feel. They are also very keen on the structural consistencies or inconsistencies in these feeling judgments or perceptions. Now the reason they are a feeling type is because they struggle with logical awareness to grasp the efficient and effective manner of one’s (or others’) trajectory

I am a Clinical Psychologist with 30 years of experience dealing with people. I was branded a INFJ quite sometime ago. I never really accepted that evaluation because placing 'labels' on people puts them into a box. It limits their potentiality and personal growth. At worse, it can destroy a individual's self determination and freedom. I have never encountered a 'classical' INFJ before. Why? Because certain characteristics of this personality type have many subgroups some of which overlap other MBTI personality types. That being said, I will describe the characteristics of how a 'orthodox' INFJ thinks, behaves and responds in strict accordance with the MBTI Personalty Test. Be forewarned, I find some INFJ 'stereotypes' rather funny. And will approach such in a humorous fashion. INFJ's posess a wonderfully unique sense irony and will immediately recognize the silly 'stereotypes' others have attrubuted to them.....So lts break some myths about INFJ Personalty Types. When a INFJ gives you the dreaded 'Death Stair' they are not sttempting to understand you. They are wondering if you're carrying a gun. Killing INFJ's is a pleasurable experience. Why? Because everyone hates a smart ass. INFJ's frequently experience 'Sensory Overload' issues. They love Forests, Parks and Woodland areas to recharge their batteries. Why? Because trees don't talk! A squirrel cannot complain it has 'Daddy Issues'. Pine trees do not suffer from 'gender identity' problems. And I have never seen a bunny rabbit strung out Crack Cocaine. Solitude is bliss. Never say to a INFJ, 'I do not understand', They will run away screaming or jump infront of a bus. No one understands them. INFJ's sometimes don't even understand themselves. Why does a INFJ 'Door Slam' people? Because it's called a Coping Mechanism. They dislike being emotionally hurt. There is nothing strange about this behavior. Everyone deals with stress differently. Some people become acholics others pill poppers. INFJ's will just run away and pretend you never existed. INFJ's have the psychic ability to absorb people's emotions. No. This is phenomen is called 'Transference'. If you continuously talk about your problems, a INFJ will unconsciously adopt some aspects of your emotional state. However, INFJ's posess strong identities which prevents them from going completely insane. INFJ's are the most honest, compassionate and sensative people on Earth. Not really. Mother Nature just screwed them up genetically. They're brains are hard wired to respond during crisis situations. A 'diehard' INFJ will instinctively sacrifice their life attempting to save yours. No questions asked. Why? I have no freaking idea. I didn't invent the rules. Ask God. I'm sure She knows. INFJ's think differently than others. Yes. They think outside the box. They live outside the box. They have never actually seen the box. What does it look like? Does it contain groceries? INFJ types are occasionally arrogant, cold towards others and aloof. This is actually true. Being omnipotent has its drawbacks. INFJ's have a difficult time sugar-coating the truth. Being overtly honest is their trademark. However, if they sense someone cannot handle the truth, they lie to protect that person's feelings. INFJ's are stubborn yet will openly admit to errors in judgment and making mistakes. INFJ's think too deeply. They want to solve everyone's problems. They get frustrated when people ask for advice, then completely ignore their recommendations. They do not understand why everyone keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. Eventually, a INFJ will simply give up. The phrase 'People need to learn the hard way' was invented by a INFJ. So was the 'unfriendl' button on Facebook. INFJ's do not respect authority because they have developed their own Moral, Ethical, Spiritual and Cognative belief systems. Mature (older) INFJ's care very little about how people perceive them and less about the impressions they make upon others. INFJ's enjoy approval and acceptance (like everyone else) but infrequently compromise their princepals to simply fit in. Do not mistake a INJ's confidence as egocentrism. There is a difference. INFJ hate themselves. They feel alone within the world and misunderstood. Being a INFJ a curse. Consequently, a small minority INFJ's often experience psychological Depression, Alienation issues and Avoident Behavior problems. The phrase, 'You are your own worst enemy' accurately describes a INFJ's perception of themselves. The most admirable personality traits of the INFJ are (1) INFJ's care more about other people than themselves which makes them a easy targets for emotional exploitation and abuse. Never play 'Guilt Games' with a INFJ. They already persecute themselves (subconsciously) for being different. They don't have the ability to forgive themselves for past mistakes, A INFJ's unforgiving 'Guilt Complex' is an integral part of their personality. INFJ's have occasionally been known to slowly kill themselves over time, believing they deserve such suffering. 'Hell on Earth' is their punishment and they willing accept it....sometimes. Not always. (2) Once you secure the trust of a INFJ, everything about them suddenly becomes clear. The stereotypes vanish. They are people you want within your life. They have incredible insight into human nature and will identify your weaknesses and lift you up from darkness. Seeing the world through a INFJ eyes is the greatest gift they can offer. It would be impossible to understand a MBTI typology without stating the negative traits of a specific personality group. The 'Dark Side' of a INFJ is rather frightening. Never test their 'Authenticity' or personal dignity. Do not play games with a INFJ. They have limitations like everyone else. A INFJ can determine your intentions or plans within minutes. Literally. This Hyperobservient behavior is quite unique. Avoid getting into heated arguments with a INFJ unless you are prepared to be intellectually, emotionally or psychologically castrated. They have cognitive resources almost beyond understanding. A vindictive INFJ will never stop until they destroy your life (this has nothing to do with physical murder). Such behavior is almost Psychopathic in nature (hence the concern INFJ's may be catorgized as possessing a psychiatrist disorder rather than a Personality dysfunction). INFJ's are not prone violent behavior. The good news is they give up easily, This is where the Door Slam or simply walking away from a argument comes from. If a INFJ loves you, be prepared for lengthy romantic rituals. Box's of candy, flowers, poems, lovely e-cards, teddy bears and such. But be careful. A INFJ understands how to manipulate situations to their advantage. Including the human heart. Once they reveal their true inner nature however, you will begin to understand why only 2% of the world's population are INFJ's. They are just so dam charming. INFJ's dislike small talk, idle conversations, superficial people and hypocrites. Life is too short talking to such individuals (but they understand its occasionally necessary to be socially accepted) INFJ's are not spontaneous. They just pretend to be spontaneous. Their minds are always attempting to 'connect the dots' even when there are no dots. Avoid getting into deep conversations with a INFJ. They are walking encyclopedias. They will jump from topic to topic then back again to support a idea or theory. Male INFJ's are 'scattered brained' in the worst way possible. But there is method to such madness. The are searching for the correct answer to a specific problem. And 95% of the time they will discover it... or have a complete nervous breakdown trying. Occasionally, you will notice them acting rather mysterious, doing unusual things or just behaving weird. Get used to this behavior. It has absolutely nothing to do with you. The INFJ is just going through a 'stage' or experimenting with something that interests them. Like building a Thermonuclear Bomb or discovering a cure for Herpes. Never tell a INFJ they possess a 'Old Soul'. They are terrified of being reincarnated again. INFJ's are aware that neither Heaven or Hell wants them. Why? Because God doesn't want the extra competition or deciding who should run the Universe (Him or a INFJ) and Satan can't deal with a INFJ pestering him for all eternity. That would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. Aliens will never abduct a INFJ. There are some things too bizarre even for Extraterrestrials. So next time you accidentally encounter a INFJ, break all COVID 'Social Distancing' issues and hug them. They are a endangered species. Literally. Whatever purpose they were created for has already been accomplished. I like to think they represent the noblest form of humanity. A personality type which everyone aspires to immulate....Intelligent, Wise, Caring, Altruistic and Protective.

I'm an ENTP in a 7-year relationship with an INFJ. We've argued over the years, but it's always constructive. Maturing socially is the key as we were 20-21 years old at the start. Are you an ENTP male? I'm female, and believe me, it's hard for ENTP fem x INFJ male. The male version of INFJ have very very underdeveloped social and interpersonal skill compared to female INFJ. And then combine it with male ego. My ex is an infj and he drained my energy (which is very rare, from what i know entp is known to have the best coping on stress compared to other types) because he's super control freak, possessive, stubborn AF, and always accusing me based solely on his thoughts. Also always clueless when i am sad or angry, which is ironic because he's the feeler one. It's me that always give him moral, mental and emotional support. It's funny because two of my best friend are female infjs, one has been with me since middle school and the other one since i'm still a college freshman. I'm not hating infj male, he's probably a wounded one, but... He's so different and very underdeveloped compared to my infj girlfriends, even though he's one year older than me and my friends.

@@SA-kv3pi Yes I'm a male and I think INFJ females are great. Haven't met any INFJ males as I know of, but I don't think personality type necessarily has to mean a person being underdeveloped socially. I've met an ENTP male with extremely low self insight and childish in a negative way. The "I am always right" and black/white thinking type. My sister which is also an ENTP is quite different than me, but has some core similarities. @@SA-kv3pi yeah I agree with Buddy. It depends on the person rather than type. I personally think that all types might start off immature but as you grow and learn, you start becoming more of the positive side of your type. If that makes any sense 🤣 I apologize; I'm currently sleep deprived. But me and my bf are both INFJ's and ten years ago, he was kinda what you described (I was a hot mess as well but I was more overly emotional and dramatic but that might be because I started developing BPD) but he was more cold and pushed others away and guarded his heart because he felt betrayed by someone he held close and kinda kept that pain with him. As he matured and learned from his mistakes, he kinda "grew into his type" and is more caring and empathetic. He always was empathetic so thats how he knew how to hurt people where it stung and he would shut down the guilt feelings that he felt. So maybe yours is doing the same? Idk. But he made up with everyone he hurt in the past and is a totally different person now and wants people to be constructive with him so he can continue growing as a person. So, what I'm saying is your INFJ male probably still has some growing to do and needs to figure out what he really wants and who he values and wants in his life because as immature INFJ'S we tend to take people that we cared for for granted and either end up treating them like crap or leaving them for weird reasons but later on in life after some growth, we regret it. Could apply to him as well. I don't know his situation and I don't wanna strictly type people so all I can go off on is personal experiences. Buuuut I hope things end up working out well for the both of you and that personal growth continues to blossom throughout yall's relationship 🤗

@@SA-kv3pi i forgot to say that he might still feel when you are sad or angry but if he's an immature INFJ, he pushes down or rejects his intuition or doesnt wanna acknowledge it because he either 1. Felt hurt by something "you did" or 2. Doesn't know if he can trust himself so pretends that everything and everyone is fine even though he feels that it isnt. Like i said, i dont know him or his situation in life personally and can only go off personal experiences. Back in school I did both 1 and 2 and knew my mbti but didnt know what it meant to be an INFJ like all the gifts we receive with it like the intuition thing. And since everyone around didnt go off of intuition, i started doubting myself and rejected my own but i usually ended up right about things i felt intuitively. And if i did go off of my intuition back then, people would ask me how i know that x, y, z will happen and i could never explain why... I just felt it and then they would laugh at me or scoff at me. But as I matured, I went back to listening to my intuition and that it's okay sometimes to NOT have an answer for things 🤗 But maybe he's like that right now is what I'm saying

I was a late bloomer INFJ, when I was younger I pursued art and design and maths. After struggling with maths for many years I finally gave it up, i'm 25 by the way. I disagree with the industrial competitiveness to find a job in design as I think it's just a dog eat dog place. I've now decided to pursue psychology after all this time, I think it's important that people get the right advice and support. Even just someone to talk to, I always lose track of time and feel deeply immersed in conversations with people, if they are kind to me I am usually very fast to care about them and genuinely want the best for them, it just sort of happens. I sit in my chair right now and I really don't know how it happens. I try to find reasons to create art at home but usually I just end up losing myself in music dream land.

Josh Art is interesting! I’m much too impatient for it although I highly appreciate it. What music do you like? I have a public playlist for my favorites. I think artistic expression is important, especially since it’s the foundational change for society. Psychology is intriguing, and it’s my favorite thing in the world. Keep being your awesome self

@@hannahmathilda7101 Thanks for the reply :) I agree that I'm quite impatient for creating art as well, I do make things sometimes but it really takes a push for me to get it done. It helps if it's a gift for someone else. As for music; i have a mixture of genres that I listen to. I listen to shoegaze, dream pop, grunge, post rock. It probably sounds depressing to most people but it makes me feel at home. Makes me feel nostalgic about my past or something, I'm not quite sure how to describe it. Anyway these are a few of my favourites at the moment! kzitem.info/news/bejne/kpmZq6B6k4eFo4Y kzitem.info/news/bejne/rHp_qoB_fmmLZHo kzitem.info/news/bejne/l4Gkv6tqfqmKepg

The major reasoning that INFJ's like myself use is a combination of feeling and logic is that it is a two pronged attempt to find an answer. In my experience when we are younger, feeling is more dominant than logic. Over time the logic asserts itself as we make mistakes. I am a 51 year old male (a unicorn) more or less. I discovered the MBTI information about 10 months ago. All these 50+ years I found my balance through trial and error of decision making without all of this. I fought through the clutter of taking on too much and now I totally understand myself. Moderation is the key to living a healthy existence. Don't take on more than we can is more important to the INFJ than anything else. When I get overwhelmed, I can't help anyone. When I close off, I am unhappy. The best bet is to be very particular on who I choose to be involved with. When that medium is achieved, I am happy with what I can do for my people and I stay sane. Have a great day. K

An INFJ female here🙋♀. I love your voice and the way you talk. It's so soothing😭❤My energy feels safe and secure while listening to you talk. A few months back, I realized the same exact thing - that each and every youtuber that I'm drawn to and attracted so much towards was either an ENFP or an ENTP. It really makes sense because as an INFJ, enfps and entps are our ideal types. So I decided then and there that if I'm ever going to marry, it's definitely going to be and ENFP or an ENTP. I love the chaotically good energy of and ENFP and the Calm focused energy of an ENTP! But after watching you, I found out that an ENTP preserves my energy but an ENFP somewhat drains it.
