Audio Imperia should release a Choir library like Oceania or Storm Choir, I'm pretty sure the result would be outstanding!

Hey nice video! As I see you talked about the hiss, I just tried Nucleus's choir and... the stacattisimos are great, but the Aah mode has some incredible noise in, for example, the F#5 note, try to play it for a very short time (or long) and you'll hear an insane crack as you stop playing the note, also in the Ooh mode you can also hear some noise in the same note and the nearest ones. Do you also hear these? Have you tried Oceania's Choir? Whats the best in your opinion? Thank you!

I’ll have to listen for that crack sound next time I fire it up. Thanks for letting me know about that! I’ve yet to try Oceania, but from what I understand it’s an excellent one trick pony. I don’t think there’s a “best” choir library out there, tbh. They all kinda shine in their own way. However, If I could only choose one, it would probably be something from Strezov Sampling. 👍

I bought Nuclus Core ages ago and have been using it ever since. However, I'm confused as to why my Staccatissimo doesn't have that green articulation key. I recall having it when I was using the Lite version, but somehow it's missing in the Core version. I've been reading the manual, but I can't seem to find a way to fix it. I apologize for asking, but I'm not sure where else to seek help.

Nice. What's confusing for me, do you use only dynamics or expression too? Do you know how it works?
@foxaudio5793

Depends on the phrase or style of writing. If you're doing something like staccatos, then you'll usually just depend on the velocity layers to add some realism. If you're doing a sustain type of phrase, then you can use the modwheel to smoothly transition through the different dynamic layers, so in a way it's like using an expression pedal.

@@foxaudio5793 Thank you. I was rather thinking about the difference between using "dynamics" linked to modwheel and the other knob - expression in sustained phrases. On various films both knobs seem to work the same way if someone ever dares to touch it. As you have Nucleus, can you tell the difference by experience? It has been bothering me lately.

@SunTai Thx, that means I just need to buy Nucleus anyway, as this seems to be quite good starter point for me. I'll have fun with checking that by myself. Once again, thank you for this comparison.

@@Krzychu3005 Alright, sorry for the late reply, but i think i have an answer for you! In Nucelus, if you assign the Dynamics knob to the modwheel, it will control the volume. When you get a little more than half way, the vibrato kicks in (i think i showed that in the video). If you assign Expression to the modwheel, you can control the volume, but the vibrato is always on. Hope that helps!

Are you kidding, right? Nucleus choirs sound robotic and unnatural when played too fast. Metropolis Ark 1 choirs are not perfect either, but they sound better than those from Nucleus.
