It must be very bitter sweet time, but I am sure it will a new venture which you're ready to conquer. I guess I guessed right that you must be a business/finance major and I totally understand the job you're undertaking as I have done those after I became an accountant. I look forward to your future endeavours and videos (Canadian spelling with an u in case you're wondering). Best of luck with everything! ✈

@@BlondeInTheAir I'm living a similar experience here in Houston, most of my family is from New York, New Jersey, always that I visit them is like recharging my batteries, I feel renewed but what I've noticed is that as times goes by, I start to appreciate more and more the sacrifice I'm doing, as electrical engineer now I'm getting more job offers, I'm just waiting for the right one to move forward or if I finally settle here I can always take a plane to new york, is difficult at the begin but you gain control over time, just don't hesitate to visit your family and the places you love when you have the chance because at the beginning you can't scape comparing and feeling home sick until you gain control and realize you're coming out of the comfort zone, you look like a great person to me, best luck, and keep your dreams, if you do, you'll find a way to make them come true.

Thank you so much for your positive words and sharing your experience with me Alex! 😊 Now that I've lived on my own for a little over 5 months, I can say that your words here ring true for me! It was really rough adjusting to my new life but you are right - just because I live alone doesn't mean I need to stay alone. Every weekend either I went to New York OR my mom or then-boyfriend (now husband) visited me OR my husband and I went on weekend trips.

Thank you so much Chase! 😊 Hahah yes, it will be a big adjustment, especially the flight options coming out of PHL airport (I will miss non-stop flights)! 🥺
