I see you are still struggling with the “pick a side!” attitude of the people in your life. It is similar to what we’ve gone through here (but with less of others’ lives at risk). There are neighbors, friends and even family that I once loved but now don’t understand. Some that we can’t have in our life because of how their political-mania has changed them so drastically. This is sad. But even those trying to stay neutral must choose a side at some point, some things are just that important. Even easygoing Uzbekistan has supported Ukraine in a statement that also refused to acknowledge the “breakaway” provinces. Take care of yourself. It is good to see you happier.

@@diane9247 There is nothing wrong with "Trumpian politics". The one exception is his unwillingness to straighten out the Putin Wing of the Republican party. I do think possibly the FSB has a compromising video of Trump with prostitutes. That's the FSB''s favorite activity to try to gane control over foreign dignitaries Biden seems to be equally compromised but in his case it was a straight up payment to Hunter. BTW according to a recent Rasmussen poll, the Republicans and Democrats are both about 83% supportive of Ukraine. The 17% of Republicans are vocal in their opposition to Ukraine whike the Democrats keep their lips zipped.

When relocating for a job, I've made it a habit of researching proximity to certain amenities relative to the employer and where I get an apartment. Pawn Shops, Gun Shops, Strip Clubs, Bars, Police Stations, Jails, Parole Offices, and such. Having had a few "downtown" jobs that might require me to come in at 2am to fix a computer issue. In a neighborhood where even the pizza place across the street wouldn't deliver to. Granted that even places like that can be only 3 blocks from the ritziest beverly hills equivalent neighborhood. If you have to travel 20+ miles to find a food place that doesn't have bars on the windows. Or have to cross 1K pawn shops to get to the nearest WalMart. That's probably not a place I want to live or work.
