I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. It was as real as anything and I felt so comfortable with Him. I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would. So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..." I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly... I started getting flooded with chills inside, trembling, and crying tears of joy. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car. I've been getting amazing prayers answered for around 6 years since, because that experience made me stop doubting when I pray, and I follow Biblical instructions, best I can.

@@nicholasjackson217 Thank you. Let me share a bit more to strengthen your faith. A while after that happened, I was watching a preacher on KZitem. I felt this compassion come over me by the Holy Spirit. So I prayed for him. "Father, I pray you double this man's ministry, his finances, and his marital life, in Jesus holy name, I demand and I decree. Amen." The next day he released a new video. He was standing on stage for a bit, smiling. Then he said "The Lord has just doubled his ministry. He's doubled his finances and He's doubled his marital life... My heart started pounding from shock, because he was saying my exact prayer from the night before. I wasn't even thinking about how I had prayed when he said it. Then later that week another prayer just as impossible was answered. It went on like that for months. I've had trials and tribulations, and ups and downs, but it still happens. Quite a lot lately.

Keto is something you should do temporality to get results and go back to eating carbs. At least a little bit. Your internal organs need carbs to operate. Glucose is the key that opens the door for insulin to get into your blood. To keep a stable metabolism and a bunch of other things. It was in my freshman year of college that I learned about the importance of carbs and their relation to your internal systems. Just cuz you look good on the outside don’t mean you don’t have to worry about what’s on the inside.
@williamdavis671

Your body can synthesis glucose on its own though. If keto wasn't sustainable long term you wouldn't have people who have been doing it for >10 years and being perfectly healthy. You should've learned that in your freshman year biology class

@@williamdavis671 you missed a very important key when you tried to tell somebody about their basic understanding in high school. And that is that your body needs enough calories to do this. Your body can produce glucose from amino acids (proteins) and even some fats. Your body doesn’t prefer this method, but it can adjust with time. But if you don’t consume enough calories, a Keto diet is not a recommended sustainable diet for long term use by itself. And yes, the liver can produce glucose from its stored reserves, but thats not ideal always 😊

I did Keto for 7 months. Lost 40+ lbs without exercise. It was ONLY diet. It was 7 months of pure torture... and once I was off, I was off. Regained everything I lost instantly PLUS some. I decided that eliminating a group of foods I really enjoy just wasn't something that would make me happy. I'm not doing portion control and watching my calorie intake and adding EXERCISE - and I'm back on track to weight loss in a much healthier, happier way. To each his own!!

Glad it's helping you feel better! If you don't mind my asking, do yo also workout and were you eating healthy before hand? I'm just curious because what I see when I look at keto is a diet that's entirely contradictory to the evolution of humans in respect to how we've eaten historically. Berries, nuts, other grains and fruits. All these things have carbs and are the main source of nutrition for thousands of years for us so I'm always intrigued by this diet.
@joshdeveaux6936
Жыл бұрын
@@dylanreithel6212 yeah it really doesn’t make logical sense that this diet would give anyone more energy, that is unless there diet was even more unhealthy before. Really the only logical upside to this diet is carbs tend to be more calorie dense therefor not eating them would make Maintaining a calorie deficits slightly easier. But if you can control yourself enough to maintain a calorie deficit with carbs I’ve yet to see any logical benefit to this diet
@dylanreithel6212
Жыл бұрын
@@joshdeveaux6936 well Keto literally tricks your body into burning fat instead of carbs because you don't eat carbs when on this diet. I don't mean this to sound negative to anybody on keto but to me it sounds like a shortcut to trying to lose fat and doesn't seem sustainable to me. As you said, if you can stay in a caloric deficit then you're good to go! So many people, mainly my fellow americans, just eat themselves till they can't eat anymore every day. And add all the extra crap into their meals, like ranch dressing, Chic fila sauce. Crap like that is unnecessary with every meal. Those little servings of chic fila sauce are 140 calories per pack. When you add in all that extra stuff over time you're looking at a lot of excess unnecessary, comfort calories as I call them. I really just wish people would do research on stuff like that, it's the little things that add up a lot over time! There's a saying "if you brush your teeth for 2 minutes it does nothing. Unless you brush your teeth for 2 minutes every day." That same idea can be applied to lots of aspects in life, little things add up!
