I work at the International Paper Fridley box plant and I must say, the job ain't for everyone. The paper industry ain't for everyone. But if you can handle the hard work and sometimes stressful situations, it pays off. I'm lucky to have it where our plant only does mandatory OT Saturday here and there.

I work at International Paper box plant in ontaria california, we have 12 hr shift, pay is $30 an hr, it's hard work and stressful at times. I stay because of the money, you can easily make 100k+ a year here. I noticed pay is all over the place, majority of the plants are union and low pay

I accepted the bag plant offer and a week after the box plant called me. I think if I would’ve been at the box plant I probably would’ve stuck around because there was a huge difference in pay. I easily noticed the box plant employees were making money because on their side of the parking had the hellcats and teslas etc then our side had my Camry and 1 X3 which was the manager’s. 😂

@@locdn4122 I have to agree. The company got sold in some venture capital deal YEARS AGO, but I guess that the family still manages it due to the nature of the work environment. The kids (who were kinda in my age bracket) were spoiled off their ass and nothing special to begin with! Eddie Bauer gave one of the girls a free, limited edition Jeep, so they were well connected, too. She refused to wave at me at an intersection close to a Winn Dixie supermarket when I was 14 and that bitch was in college. I still remember that. Oh well.....fuck her! Those turnover rates are crazy. You would think HR would look into, but all they did when they was tell us how we were going to start clocking in and out for our breaks.
