@@NamelessRiderz Aye, ain't that the truth for most of us. Just remember to create time for you and your family as well as your career, don't miss your little one growing up for any job, and certainly not for YT, but you already know that. No one ever said 'I wish I'd spent more time at work'.

Wishing you well for a smooth transition to the new job. I have really enjoyed watching your videos over the last few years... they have inspired and motivated me to get out there and explore and more recently to splurge on getting a Go Pro 9 so that I can document my rides. I understand from my feeble and futile attempts to make a ride videos that it is very time consuming so your decision to take time out and focus only family and your career is understandable but I am hoping that in the not too distant future you can get back into it.

Thanks mate!! That's part of why I enjoy making these!! Hopefully to inspire others to get out there!! Yeah filming is another type of beast! And you know, what filming is only half of the work, there's a lot of time going into editing.. that's where I really struggle to have time for.. GoPro 9 would be a lot better than my GoPro 3😄 Still some videos on the works.. so stay tuned😊 and don't forget the bell button! 😄

@@NamelessRiderz I struggle with most of it but it is the editing that really confounds me... I have tried just about everything thing out there but I just don’t seem to have the aptitude.... I have mountains of footage taken on trips here and overseas sitting on hard drives waiting for me to do something with it ... like you I have had a big life change in that I was made redundant in December due to the impact of COVID so I finally have time to invest some time in learning how to edit ... what do you use?
@NamelessRiderz
3 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to hear that. I guess you can spend the time learning a new skill like editing..😄 I use premiere Pro, but I have heard good things about DaVinci resolve. And it's free!! I probably use 5% if that with pp.. but it took me a long time to figure it all out.. lots of KZitem.. the problem is learning the terminology they use.. cause I found it hard to Google what I was trying to accomplish.. Stick with!! You'll soon find out you recorded way too much!!😄

Good grief mate, please always ride with some protective gear on, shorts, t shirt and no gloves isn’t really clever, especially if you end up going for a slide down the bitumen. All the best with the career change. A good move 👍.
@NamelessRiderz
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, yeah very very very rare for me to ride like that, the only reason was it's a couple minutes away from home, low traffic, low hazards and 33 degrees +. I know there's always a chance for a slide, but I try and lower my risk as much as I can.. Hope you've been well!!

@@NamelessRiderz That’s exactly what I had thought. It seemed so unusual for you to have dressed so lightly when on the bike. Safety first - hey. Anyway I get it and yes I too have been equally guilty in the past for doing exactly the same. Even worse still when in the past riding in the Greek islands without a helmet as well., All is well down here in Tassie, it’s just been way too hot this week to even think about going for a ride on the bike. Maybe next week all going well. Take care mate 👍
