Great shot!!!! I’m surprised that you found a cable release for your “1000s” rig. I have a 645 Pro and I needed a dedicated cable release specifically made for the “Pro” model.

Gorgeous photos Andy, it’s great that so many people are returning to film. When you get results like these, it’s hardly surprising. You have to work for what you get with film, but you love them more. Shooting film is like having kids, it’s never gonna be easy but you do get rewarded... most of the time ;)

David, you’re lying, on my latest video I found an old phone booth and nothing went right. Unfortunately I ran out of film before I could it get a successful shot. Thanks for watching!

Andy, your website is not coming up completely. All I see is a frame with a sale tag in the middle. Your avatar is on the upper left of the page and there is no contact info available either.

Lee, thank you for this info, I’ve been trying to start up a website but I’ve been running around covering this whole covid news coverage and I haven’t had much time. Thanks for the heads up tho!

You have a good camera with the Mamiya. I have about 4 of them that are operational and another four that I am working to get them up and functional. My first encounter with this camera was in 1978 while stationed in Germany. I got the whole setup for $360.00 because of a pricing mistake. This should have had another $1200.00 attached to it. The meter was nothing but a glass viewer, so I learned the Sunny 16 Rule. If you have not tried developing your own film you are missing out on a threat. None of my films that I shot back them, B/W or slide, went to a lab. Daylight processing is so easy it will blow your mind and I was doing that before it started to become trendy now. I will check your website out.

Nice price for 1978! I think doing processing is half the fun!

Great review and shots, but next time, more show less talk. Try actually documenting your shoot on location, it would be much more entertaining

I’ve used this camera for many years. I currently have three of them. It’s a very very fine camera.
