You can use compound clips to do the same. But you give me an insight to edit interview with one camera. I can duplicate the clip and increase the size of the second one, to zoom in a little bit in the face, and use it as a second cam. So I can edit the interview like a multicam project.

Yeah, it took me awhile to develop a workflow. I feel like Multicam gives me the most control.

are you having issues with exporting multicam projects? i cant seem to get through an export successfully without it failing, regardless of the settings

I was wondering the same. I found compound clips work really well, whereas multicam can sometimes slow down playback.

I have not used Compound Clip, I'll have to look into it.
